What makes this song hit so hard is about how hard it speaks about DoomGuy's suffering. Dude lost his wife, his infant son, his rabbit, home, friends, and corrupted his mentor into betraying what was basically his second home, all because of the demons. What makes this even sadder is that he can never see the people he's lost ever again not just because he can't die, but because the demons pretty much converts their victims souls into argent energy.
