also I've heard people say that they have heard this song on the radio before. Psychosocial, Duality, and Dead Memories are usually the Slipknot songs that get played the most on radio stations if they do get played.

I thought that Joey was pride- cause of the mirror just looking at himself and all of that, now my brain is confused-
I've heard Dead Memories & Before I Forget a lot in the radio here in south Texas.
One thing you'll learn about Corey Taylor...the man can write a chorus. And his lyrics are usually TOP NOTCH. Very well spoken individual.
You should check out an interview; if you haven't already....there PLENTY out there. It's very hard not to like #8.

Yup, knew u would love this song bc of his voice. Not old school technically. This is off their 4th album All Hope Is Gone. This was slightly newish for us. Old school is Self titled and Iowa.

Especially when they played it at the end of their set at Sonisphere after Paul died and they were all hugging his suit and mask, that was emotional to say the least literally the whole crowd, we were silent then when it had finished we were chanting "Paul Gray" for about 10 mins when they were packing the set up....

A lot of people do like this song! But older fans didn't expect a song without screams at the time so not many older Slipknot fans liked it. Or this whole album rather. Also major congrats for 1k subs! You deserve it!

If you want to keep going down the Slipknot rabbit hole I have quite a few suggestions, birth of the cruel, gematria, purity, new abortion live london 2002, red flag, but if I were you, I'd start from album 1 and take it all the way to the end. Also Stone Sour is really good.

Actually what it really means was about corey tragic past and horrible memories stuck inside of him and he tries to get away but he cant thats what it meant when mick was blocking him #7.For example this was made in the same year of pauls death so the scene where dead memories on heart played and paul stared at corey and smashed the glass that had me silent and frozen because i realised what it meant so yeah. Miss you more than anyone paul and joey literally. Its been 11 years sincen pauls death and i still cry

Stone Sour is a natural transition from Slipknot if you enjoy Coreys vocals. They have a better balance of melodic and hard songs. I recommend Bother, Through Glass, Gone Sovereign/Absolute Zero, or RU486.
