Can someone more in tune with this area than me answer: is this why some toothpastes and mouthwashes have acidic ingredients? To lower the pH and enable the fluoride to infiltrate the bacteria?

To perform DPC the Exposed pulp should be less then 0.5 mm.

Let me tell all of u my experience when i stopped using floride toothpaste my enamel starting to erode...then again after a month i started using floride again two three days later my enamel start getting better... so floride actually helpful for teeth but it should be in little quantity

What? Sweden has fluoride in damn near all toothpastes and mouthwashes. It's also commonly added to floss.
They banned it from drinking water. Though there has been NO REAL STUDIES done to show that toxic waste they call fluoride has any positive benefits to teeth at all. Edward bernays sure helped sell it to a population of morons though didn't he...
