Thanks for another great video. I agree the beauty of 4AD is expandability. It is the sign of great game design when you can expand and add things to a system and have it all still work…so many other systems collapse after the first few expansions.
Nice review and agree with the pickup play and have fun aspect of this game. Lighter game which is enjoyable in which you can make harder to play. Loads of options with other books and monsters. Keep it up
I really need to find the time to dig into the Overland Travel fan expansion that's out there. I read over it once awhile back and it sounded really cool. Just haven't taken the time to try it out.
With prefixed adventures, 4AD can become a fun Choose your Own Adventure system. Still I wish we had more agency on how things play out in a fight. More objects or actions for instance. Or enemies immunity or stuff like that!
Something, something, something Troublesome Towns. Don't have it with me. I talk about it briefly in my latest episode about solo, analog, tabletop dungeon crawls. czcams.com/video/eM2S4pWeczs/video.htmlsi=pQ-9EmCTrtOxujLy&t=3654

More action options on a turn would be good.
Nice options for new 4ad gamers
I hope somebody writes some adventures using all preset maps.. (I love any excuse to utilize my terrain!)
Are you going to look at the decks ?
Yep!
If theres no Towns in between dungeons, what do you spend your Gold on?
You can buy stuff. There’s just no official town phase. There is now though. New expansion.
@@TheDungeonDivedo you know what the expansion is called?
