  • This is marketed as a 5 star adult only hotel and we booked all inclusive with Tui in July 2019 (it was very hot!) I would personally suggest that this is no more than a 4*.
If you want nothing but a relaxing holiday and to do nothing for a week or 2, then you will find it peaceful.
I’m in my 30’s and my partner is in her 20’s, this is not my first time in Greece and we booked very last minute at a low price. We found the resort a little too quiet. There was only ‘lively’ (just about) entertainment twice during our week stay which you will see in the video, the other acts were very mellow. The entertainment was only on for an hour or so each night. Fireworks happened once and lasted for a couple of minutes and after this there was nothing else to do.
You can walk 30 minutes to the local town or you can take a bus or taxi. Hiring a car to explore the island was good fun.
If you are a very fussy eater you may not get on well with the food and end up eating pasta or potato. I actually enjoyed the buffet and found it comparable to other Greek resorts in a similar price range for what I paid.
The all inclusive cocktails at the pool bar are pre made and are significantly watered down. They are served in small glasses which was disappointing. The main-bar was much better and served what you would expect but you’re only going to go there in the evening as it’s out of the way from the pool and beach.
If you are drinking at the pool bar stick with beer, Prosecco etc. The snack bar was alright, we ate here a couple of times instead of getting changed to go to the restaurant and they served sandwiches, pastries, gyros etc.
Something else to mention, on the Tui website and in the welcome pack you get a the hotel, it states there are snacks between 2300 - 0000. . . There are no snacks, having seen no food for a couple of nights I asked and I was just told the kitchen was closed. There was nothing the whole week.
As many people have mentioned on trip advisor, you have to give your room number and sign all of the time for food and drink, it becomes tiresome.
If you like the beach, it was sandy apart from the first few steps in the water, after this nothing but clear water.
I personally wouldn’t return it was too quiet for me, the staff were great and very polite. There was plenty of room for everyone and I never struggled to get a space by the pool or on the beach.

Great video me and my partner are contemplating booking this in the near future, just a few questions.....
Would you go back and if there's any criticisms what would they be?
How much was the buggy to rent and where from?
And how much entertainment was on at the resort apart from what was in the great video you've done?
And can you rent jet skis?
    Thank you

Hi, I’ll be honest I wouldn’t return. It was an amazing and clean hotel but. . . I would suggest this is for people who want a very quiet and relaxed time. I personally just needed a little more entertainment and activities. There was 1 piece of entertainment each night. There is no water sports, there is a hotel a 10 minute walk on the beach where you can hire various sporting equipment. There is someone on sight where you can hire cars etc, it wasn’t very expensive.

@@falconsfortune thank you that's what we need a quiet break, with the option to go out to kardamena for a few bars just a couple of miles away we are happy with that.

Thanks for posting. I'm going there tomorrow. Are there any shops / bars near the hotel, within walking distance? Thanks. Steve

Steve Myers the closet town is Kardamaina which is about 2.5 miles, a 45 minute walk. It’s direct along the seafront from the hotel and you will find places to eat and drink :) The hotel will also call you a taxi and it’s less than a 10 minute drive. Have fun!
