The only one of these that I remember playing in the arcades was Express Raider, which I actually liked back when it first came out. The problem is that sometimes they don't control as well when they are remade, and also sometimes they just don't age well, since many better games have been made since.
Overall, its kind of amazing how many amazing classic arcade games there are out there, and yet these collections come out with all crapola games on them. Data East made a lot of great games, how can this collection of garbage be volume 2?
@@SeanGrantstormpinball, I totally agree! Data East has so many great games, yet Blaze picked these to represent a Data East collection. It’s kind of embarrassing.
Just starting the video but I'm thinking this one is a bit of a stinker and I'm very disappointed in the games they selected. Edward Randy is fun but it's not great. Without Boogie Wings, Bloody Wolf, Spinmaster, Joe and Mac Caveman Ninja, Fighter's History and Nightslashers they're leaving out their best stuff and loading it up with old filler stuff. Maybe they're setting up for Data East arcade 3??? I'll be curious to see what you think of this one.

Midnight Resistance is a rotary game, that is why it does not feel good with a regular d-pad.
@@MarquisDeSang, most definitely! Kinda like how Ikari Warriors doesn’t feel right with a D-pad👍
And if they didn't suck so hard, they would've put that function on the controllers. They knew they were going to at some point be putting games like this on the system so they could've thought ahead. Bullshit! I'd kill for a system that has a 16-way controller just so I can play 720 Degrees the way it was meant to be played. Even if it's just a dial like Tempest.

There has been so many bad Evercade cartridges. 😢 I wanted to collect them all but I have had to sikp so many.
@@steviegrafx1616, same here. I originally wanted to collect them all, but there’s just so many I most likely wouldn’t play. The Arcade carts are the only ones I want all of. However, this Data East 2 collection may have changed my mind. It looks horrible.
SRD is amazing with an autofire (that Everlame does not provide)
I grabbed one of those RG353 handhelds.... You can literally use it as a console with controller and everything. It made me realize how useless my Evercade is. I was playing Astrosmash on the Evercade and I thought i was just worse than I remember. Then I played it on the RG and realized the Evercade just doesn't run the game right. Useless!

hahaha, so no surprises. After playing Toaplan 3 and the outstanding shooters, it must be such a bummer to play the clunkers here. Again, Edward Randy is okay and Two Crude Dudes is a disappointing but not terrible beat em up and if you like single screen clear out games (which I know you don't) than you will probably like Joe and Mac Returns and Super Burger Time but that's still awful lot of filler on the cart. Don't know why they'd do that when they have so many better titles available that don't have license conflicts. I'm not asking for Captain America but I would like Bloody Wolf.

Yea this cart isnt sounding so good. The beat em ups game looks like it might be the best one on here. Ive heard about the joe and mac games. I think a new one got released for the switch.

Be careful brother, I heard that if someone buys that cart and adds it to their shelf, it can make their entire game room smell like a skunk! 😂 Holy crap those are some terrible looking games! C'mon, what the heck Blaze ....?

Definitely not a cart for everyone. I have most of these on Switch as they're available on Johhny Turbo's Arcade label and are always on sale. I'll probably pick it up because I love collecting the arcade carts. Keep up the awesome work!
Looks like an absolutely awful cart. Laughable that Evercade are bringing out new/revised hardware and then produces carts like this to play on them. I think they know now that a lot of people will buy all the carts regardless of quality.
