Reminder, this is NOT the only Way or Build which can clear this. Its a good Baseline for starting out with Solo Legendaries, and we can always build onto that! The Strategies are mostly designed for New/Returning Players who want to get into Solos.

Just came back to say, I just completed my first solo legendary Roosevelt by following this guide :) time was terrible, over 37 minutes, but I’m glad I managed to do this first try. Thank you so much!
Thats great, congrats!! 37min is not bad, especially not for first time! You will get faster If you run it more, dont worry too much about it!

Your videos are packed with great information. Another one I watched from beginning to end. I am assuming you have the Ouroboros but prefer the Elmos for distance and the shock. I need to pick up my Elmos again and remind myself what made it so great before my Ouroboros/Striker build became my new regular. PS: I carry the Rock & Roll to build my Striker stacks quick.
I do have the ouro and mainly use it aswell, i just wanted to make this possible for people who dont have it, and at the same time if you want to use the oreo to its full capacity it requires a way more risky and aggressive playstyle (which is just not smth id recommend getting into solo legendaries
I really appreciate these tutorials. I solo’d DUA multiple times thanks to Hutchler’s video. I don’t try to act like I’m a speedrunner of any sorts (my PB is 21:38), but I have a bit of experience with that mission. I suck at every other legendary though, but I really wanna start clearing them on my own too. Thank you for your guides

The Issue with something like Tidal is, i dont really think i can find a way to make it somewhat "casual" which is a very big Part of why im doing these Videos in the first Place. I wanted to find some Strategies that make it easier for Players who are not really comfortable with Solo Legendaries, and/or even full Red builds, and want to get their first/second clear. I might do Tidal in the Future, but it would be very different to this Video.
@@toasteyxgod fair enough. Personally, I’ve never tried Tidal, not even in a group. I did however complete Manning with my clan once, it was a clusterfuck. Well, to be fair, my team did well, it was *me* who messed it up for everyone else. What I care about the most is improving as a solo legendary player in general, especially with the first three strongholds
@@sinner2133 honestly i really enjoy tidal, and its actually not that bad, if you know the few backspawns, and know your prioritys! there are my solo/duo WR for Tidal on my youtube if you wanna see what you can expect :p
@@sinner2133 i replied to another comment (steves7876) read that there i got some kind of tips for tidal. my biggest tip for legendary missions is jsut play them^^ i almost never play normal missions, its just way too boring and easy to me, i only do legendary solo or to ghelp people to get the completion for the exo and imo legendary is the best way to get better, understand enemy behaviour and such things what makes you feel more "under controll of the situation" what will happen if you fail? you just go again;)

Nice vid. I' d be interested in solo tidal. I always get stuck at the docks just get overwhelmed with tanks, dogs, grenadiers, drone, rushers and chungas 😂
i have a Tidal Solo Run on my CZcams, i would probably play it similiar to there!
you can somewhat cheese legendary mission with teleporting back to the last start area. tidal is pretty bad when it comes to spawns and cover for enemies, for the dock areaa both the one with the gate and the 2nd you can go in,trigger the encounter and teleport back to the mission before you really get into combat. that way you can still get ammo in the big gate area and the 2nd area you are behind the barricade sandbag thing and can kill them either while peaking from the right side over the water or just use seeker/skill builds. as soon as you get more comfortable with solo legendarys you can play more and more agressive

Have you ever tried the hard wired build? Man I been soloing heroic and its pretty easy man I always have turret and seekers my seekers hit for about 3 mill it's crazy

I’ve tried to roll “damage to enemies out of cover” over 75 times, nothing…. Would you suggest any other attribute or pretty much keep trying? Spending a butt ton of resources but I’m sure it’s worth it
Sadly it is random, and can be any of the (i think its 14?) options every time you reroll it. DTOOC (Damage to Targets out of Cover) is by far your best choice for almost every Weapon tho

Would you recommend this build in a 4 man legendary? If not any DPS alternatives?
Hey, i wouldnt really, you loose out a lot of dmg if you go with a memento. Your best bet would be striker Backpack instead of memento. You can go with obliterate chest like in the first areas, or with striker chest like on the boss fight, thats up to you. For the non striker pieces ceska is always the best option, and for the second one either coyotes Mask or a grupo piece
@@toasteyxgod you say ceska is best in slot, but what if your crit hit chance is already high? (basically anything above 50%) is it really worth getting it to 60?
@@digital107-_- depends on the group(if you have coyote) but general you want to be close to 60, or 50-55 with coyote. But if you have crit dmg mods and on every striker piece, you shouldnt get too much crit chance

Hey, no! It might be a bit harder, cause you probably will miss some stats from the watch. But especially if you have crit chance unlocked you will be fine, Positioning and build is more important (even tho your build will be a bit weaker).

i don't know man. in the speedrunning scene all plattforms are equaly close in times. not saying that the learning curves are exactly the same. but this is at least as much possible on console as on pc.

This is your 2nd video that Im watching and ... WHY cant you go piece by piece of your gear and show with ALL stats, how hard is it to scroll down and show complete details with talent etc, instead you swap around like crazy , oh this is that and this is this. WHO TF knows? veterans? they definitely dont need to watch your video guides. If your videos is towards an inexperienced audience and a new player like myself, what do you think I can understand from this flipping around back and forth at light speed? ZERO. Oh yea, how cool, look! ... What a waste! I can't tell what those gear pieces are and what stats are on them JUST by looking on the overall view of your inventory!!! The first video that I watched was the Tidal Basin legendary run you did, and I tried to write down which pieces had which stats, pfff. what a joke. I had to try and go frame by frame, didnt help since the screen didnt refresh fast enough. are you doing it on purpose? doesnt seem like it, but can you explain properly, slowly, in detail, so the NEW Players can understand and appreciate your expertise. Please! I like how you explain many nuances in the gameplay itself with a good heads up for this or that mechanic, but the gear setup - *facepalm*
tbh, this is not a build tutorial. if you that fresh to the game, that you struggle with understanding a striker build, you won't do legendary solo anyway.

@@alexanderlevitch6221 First I'll explain the builds, then offer some advice.
His first build has the Ceska Vyroba chest piece with the Obliterate talent. He's got the Memento backpack and four other Striker gear set pieces. You can change which pieces have armor cores, but he has three armor cores outside of the Memento backpack for four total. Each piece has critical hit damage or critical hit chance, and the mods are the same. He didn't show the exact breakdown because there are so many combinations of these attributes that it doesn't matter. You just need to get as close to 60% critical hit chance as possible (because it doesn't go any higher) and put the rest on critical hit damage.
The second build changes the chest piece to the Striker chest piece and changes one of the other striker pieces (mask, holster, gloves, or kneepads, doesn't matter) to a Ceska Vyroba piece. Once more, all critical hit damage and critical hit change attributes / mods to get to around 60% critical hit chance with the rest on critical hit damage. He runs only three total armor cores on this build for more damage, but it's not that big of a deal. The weapons for both builds are the St. Elmo's Engine and a CMMG Banshee with the Unwavering talent. The Banshee can be any decent SMG with Unwavering, and the handgun doesn't really matter. He runs the Gunner specialization for both builds.
Unfortunately, it does matter how experienced you are at the game. This build is a handy guide for arguably the hardest content in Division 2 (because at least with Raids you have 7 others on a mic). A lot of endgame players with hundreds of hours like me are content with just running Legendary missions with 3 other people for the weekly project to get an exotic cache, and don't really try to take these missions on solo, so it is definitely possible for an informative tutorial to be directed to endgame players who are able to quickly understand how this build is put together. If you want to try this, don't get frustrated if it doesn't come as easy as you expect, because this is pretty much the hardest stuff there is.

I'm over a month into the game, and now reached this content, unfortunately my group of 4 couldn't clear the last boss room when we tried (it felt like we tried everything for 2hrs+), even while camping in the control room, sadly. My gears weren't good enough as well, plus I didn't have the Catharsis mask at that time. I was using striker 4-piece with 3 blue cores, but very low random rolls, even with St Elmo's. Need more practice. I have improved my gears a lot since then, hope to try again, soon. Perhaps solo first, so I can really put in the time to learn those nuances. Also, I still need the Memento bag. For example, only from the OP's vids I learned that enemies were specialized: drone operator, grenadier etc... Didn't pay attention before that. So yea, it helped!
