This is sick!! Just bought a wagon just like that one you have!! About to customize the wagon and make it a fishing cart!! Thank you for this video!! 🎣🙌
I wouldn't exactly call this the "best diy fishing cart." That plastic is rather flimsy. After several unsuccessful diy carts, I finally spent the money on a Berkley cart. After a few mods to make it my own, it's really the best I've owned. Folds compactly into the bed of my pickup, holds a ton of stuff, and is quite sturdy (important since I do a lot of bank fishing at lakes & rivers).
martin .. Of course, your situation is different, but can tell you why I picked the Berkley cart. I usually go out in a small boat (13' HD inflatable) at home. The "regular size" Berkley cart is for camping (travel trailer, no room for boat). Folds small enough (wheels attached) to store under the tonneau cover in the bed of my pickup and sturdy enough for bank fishing. It holds (front to back) a Frabill 4825 bait bucket, small utility bag (radio, tp, first aid, etc), Coleman 28qt Xtreme 3 Cooler (fits perfectly sideways), and my Plano 3600 Guide Series tackle bag (fits perfectly sideways) - with rods, landing net, folding aluminum chair, and similar tossed on. By the way, in addition to the small table on the back, I built an above "utility table," similar to the Sea Striker cart, out of PVC pipe and a thick plastic TV tray.
The axle assembly is nothing more than a metal rod, holes drilled in the rod, and cotter pins. Find some larger wheels that will fit your cart. If the existing metal rods don't fit those wheels, get longer metal rods the correct diameter and shorten to size. Drill holes on the outside of the rods for the cotter pins. Add washers on each side of the wheels and install the cotter pins. Done.
Great idea

Very Creative!!!💥❤️👌
This awesome. I have the same radio flyer cart. I'm going to do the same thing on mine
AAhhh man I had one just like that a few years ago. I got rid of it for a metal cart that was 20x's heavier. Never should of!
I want to know who disliked this video, awesome job dude 🤙🏼
Nice!

I'm either going to get the Berkeley or the Sea Striker.

I need this in my life lol....how much would you charge to make this for someone lol???
If not, I'll make ya one for a fee.
Can the sand get into wheels?
Where'd you get the support brackets?
There goes the rent deposit lol
Wheels are too small. Its gonna be tough going through soft sand.
