This was a great story, if you took all the main events and made a story from it, it would be a really good book/movie:
The Emperor is murdered, his best friend and council member investigates his death.
The Investigator's wife (also a council member) was behind it all, plotting the destruction of the kingdom along with two co-conspirators and fellow council members.
The first co-conspirator was discovered by the investigator, but in an effort to protect himself to uncover the truth, the investigator waited to see what more he could find.
More murders occurred and members of the Emperor's council were being killed.
Due to these murders, the investigator was forced to reveal what he had found out, putting himself at risk to try and stop the murders.
The first co-conspirator was trialed and executed, leaving the other two to finish the job.
Knowing that the Investigator would have had some sort of protection, they had to eliminate the protection before taking on the investigator.
The Investigator finds out that it is his wife that was behind it all.[dramatic shit here- internal struggle and whatnot]
The Investigator's wife was then put on trial and executed for her crimes.
Only one corrupt official was left, the quiet one, the one that no-one expected apart from the Emperor's assistant, who had a hunch and tried bringing it to the attention of the council earlier.
The Investigator, knowing he would not finish his work, urged the remaining of the council to continue his investigations.
The Investigator, as expected was assassinated later that night.
The two remaining council members and the Emperor's assistant knew that it had to be one of them.
There was an argument and a weapon was put into the hands of the final good council member, who made a instinctive decision to kill the final conspirator.
Upon further investigation, it is revealed that it was a good choice, and they could begin the road to create peace again.
Could also change it up and make the final conspirator survive and the other two die, and have an evil ending, or have the same ending but the kingdom was already at such a state that it couldn't recover so even though the conspirators were dead, they still won in the end.
^If this was story written in detail by someone talented, I'd read/watch it.
Sounds like a mix between Macbeth, Julius Caesar and the Mummy. Liked just for effort. Yea, i'd watch it too if it was done well.

I want to acknowledge Josh, how in the night Gina dies, he actually steps back from accusing Julia which gives her assurance he's not against her and lays off of him. So then later on he can go back and accuse her, which he does! It seems how he planned that strategy, nice move.
josh's accusations have been pretty on point the last couple of games he is in. but they are always shut him down in the beginning and then when it comes down to it, they have no choice to believe him. go josh! you're my favorite in mafia
They shut him down at the beginning because saying you're just gonna accuse someone for the sake of just accusing doesn't make any sense, but in the end he did really well at proving he wasn't Mafia without getting flustered.
+emma huynh i think it's more that the rest of JK undermime Josh's abilities. Yes in the beginning of JK playing games he sucked ass, but in the recent ones he's been SPOT ON. Josh is a listener and watches people and trusts his instincts. How can you prove people on the basis of instincts? I wouldn't either, but knowing Josh's track record I would not take his accusations light heartedly

Yeah he did. He recognized what was at stake the round he revealed he was the cop. Many of the others wouldn't have. If the town didn't kill a Mafia member that day Mafia would have won. Bart usually plays really well. Geo seems to think Joe is better, but my rankings of the top JK players in Mafia are Casey > Bart > Joe
And big props to Byron, because he trusted Bart and saved him from first round, when he was pointing at himself. And then sacrificed to save Bart, so that he could reveal the other mafia.
