Great machine to operate but not built to strong I was working it in the field a year ago had a half a load of stone in the bucket turned the wheel to make a right blew the wheel right out snapped the rod the wheels were pointing in at each other so I had to ride it out of the field on the bucket with the front wheels off the ground wasn't fun parts were pricey to
There is no way a mini is 3X faster than that machine, granted a mini is great for a lot of jobs, but try carrying that crushed stone with a mini ! That 110 is a great machine for all-around use if you only had or could afford one machine. I've run my brother's 110 and it's a very well made and engineered machine, I don't know why Deere doesn't still make them? He has owned his for 15 plus years and is VERY hard on equipment and that thing has taken every bit of over-the-limit use he has dealt it. I don't like a back hoe either, but that 110 hoe is VERY fast for a detachable hoe (usually they are painfully slow) and could almost keep up with a comparably sized excavator.
Not enough hydraulic flow so it switches between the demands for flow you ask of it. As it is a small machine with limited hp, that hydraulic supply is also split between driving pump and loader backhoe pump, I believe. Jerkiness is common on small machines if you are really manhandling it trying to be productive, because you are not waiting for one function to smooth out before another demand is input so when it does switch it can be harsh. This one only has 41 usable hp, compared to a full size backhoe at 80-90hp, as well as less gpm flow at 23 vs 38. A small excavator with a comparable boom would likely have more flow dedicated to the boom and swivel than a similarly sized boom tlb.
Cause he operates it like a mad man.
Damn your good with that thing.
The boom has a dry pin . You can hear it squeak same place ever time .
Like ur vids buddy.
that and I was running deere controls!
yeah im not much of a backhoe guy but a hydro swing is more jerky than a turntable like an excavator
That thing needs some grease! Hahaha
Chris, what is your opinion on the usefulness of the small backhoe vs a mini ex?
It was on my news feed, and i thought it was Billstmaxx, then i was like, oh wait! Its letsdig18!
that thing is actually taken care of tho bills has seen better day its got slop in every pin
Is there no extra dig ... And are all they all fixed no sliding right or left back actor
when i saw it in my subscriptions i thought it was bill then im like wait thats not bill lol
Needs grease, what do you think of it Chris good machine or useless?
Just like Billy's!

Rental or not, give it some grease!
Just getting the Hang of it here, Eh ?
no comparison, a mini ex is 3x as fast and you can do 20 times more jobs this thing would never go

Them
Nah. It's more of because he uses it pretty much every day. Besides, I've seen far worse.
Whyzit so jerky?

Billstmaxx has better stickers lol
that one is in ten times better shape who cares about stickers
demoted to a backhoe.
Never really seen a backhoe that small before kinda seems a little useless, more for a person with a hobby farm not try make money with it lol.
Shitty Deere controls lol
