Im sure that guitar is mid 60s at the least, i remember drooling over it right after i got my 1st guitar in 6th grade, That was 1965 &66, thats right, it was in sears roebuck catalog. Didnt get that 1 but a Gibson melody maker nxt ,then an SG. Man That was a bunch o yard mowing.
I’m going to be tackling the same issue. Beforehand, I was wondering how you went about sourcing the rivets to replace the drilled out rivets? Went looking today and came up with squat!
Thanks for doing the vid, very interesting, but you left us on a cliffhanger...so how did it end up sounding?!? Did it sound like the other two original pickups?
Hi Scott, how much wire will I need for this wind? I'm looking at 8 oz. 1 lb. and 4 oz. Obviously the 4 Oz is the cheapest at around 14 bucks. Your video was invaluable for the information! Thanks for posting.

I buy most of my wire from Remington Industries direct but they do sell on Ebay also at very good prices.

Your voice is so whistly, like listening to a talking tea pot
Nice , Did you end up buying the res of the 42 awg from the guy on ebay?
I have one that needs a fix, it is riveted,,how do you take the pickup apart?
I'd be pissed off too...what's a guy who hacks out pickups like that have any business in owning a Silvertone/Harmony of that caliber?
