Ha, did you see what they want to do to the cryro pods? Have fun bringing the cryro fridge with to use the pods and all that other junk they are doing to them. I'm guessing you will just use the mod.
You can check what gender your dino is in the Dino Tracking tab, just manualy search the name of the dino. Please like this comment so everybody can see it! Love the videos, keep up the great work!

@@xbeast1997xI could be wrong but I think they mean if your not sure what sex the one you have already tamed is in which case tames in progress won’t help

I fully approve of shutting off fog underwater for videos. It's no different than gamma swapping to me.
@Syntac At 30:35 in this video, you pulled chitin and fish meat out of your Bary and into your inventory, but they both show up as 0X on the side. In someone's livestream chat, I read people were saying if you slot cap and continue to harvest or pull stuff into your inventory, it will just delete the extra stuff. Something about the best way to deal with it is using bags to make sure you don't delete stuff, but I couldn't understand how to do it. Thought you should know. Might be an important piece of information when you are sinking a lot of time and effort into grinding for and making saddles and could be deleting a bunch of those hard earned materials by accident.
If you watch the inventory, the silica pearls move, which means the items were added correctly
Idk if you know syntac but for some reason murder turkeys cant attack plant species X, so if you just set up plant species x next to where they spawn you can easily kill lots of them
Syntac your bary has 53 points into its health, THATS AN AMAZING STAT ROLL
Speed isn't a stat anymore though. While previously that would be an amazing roll, now it's probably just really good.
@@Movienut1992 even given that he’s still right. My baby barys haven’t pooped with more than 2700-3500 Hp 314-343 melee. For babies that’s a great starting point
The reason barry’s can’t be picked up anymore is because wildcard realised that Barry’a are too slippery for bolas or argy’s 😂

If you put the tames on passive before you unclaim them, they stay still when you attack them.

Dinos will eat the their least favorite things first from a food trough. While picktly eaters will only eat whatever it is they eat. For barys, it's fish meat but fish meat happens to be the lowest tier most meat eaters will eat, so it goes fast. Either farm a bunch of fish meat to fill the trough or put the fish directly in the barys inventory or put a trough down in a corner just for picky eaters.
I'd love a lil fishy koi themed farm. Even if it's only ONE special type of fish that we can breed. I'd love it.

Those Bary's you got is right by where I built my base (the waterfall near the Red Obelisk), Bary's spawn a little further up the river for me all the time, I also get a lot of those Turkey's along that beach. Further south on the little round island I find Trilobites all the time so I've been farming Silica and Black pearls
I Use a harpoon launcher with netprojectile. Then I build dino gates around the barry while it is netted making sure to leave a little spot open between the gates so I can shoot it from there. I aggro the barry shoting at it from the spot I want to tame it in making sure the area is clear before from interuptions before I start. Sorry english is not my first language, but I hope it is comprehensible at least 😅

It's funny how many recent videos mention not knowing the sex of a tame when hunting for a mate. I realize it's a new feature but the ASA dino tracker allows you to check on every tame you have from anywhere in the game. I love that feature!

I wish fish were like all the other tames. I love making an aquarium in a partial underwater base but I can't put them in there conventionally.
I got my Baryonix to lv 300 with 15k health and 900 attack 😀👍 I’m gonna get an army and do the brewdmother with them and see what happens, oh and I got a saddle with 200 armor!! Let’s gooo!!
Moving forward, I will now refer to Master Bedrooms as "Full on dedicated areas for breeding" . Thank you for that Syntac.

I'm so excited! After waiting I finally got an ascended server to play on! Been watching all of these to help sate the craving until I could get set up! I know there are bugs and issues especially with xbox but it'll all eventually get resolved for the most part. Haven't been having any major issues so far. Good luck gaming everyone!

a basilo with 4 sharks is a really good combo yes the sharks will get stunned but at least they end up getting that resistance to it after that stun timer
They canged the cryro pods. They are now made to be pvp friendly, so you need a fridge 11 blocks away to use them, you can not put a dino in it that took damage within 60 sec, you can not place a dino without a fridge down within 11 blocks, so dont think youre just gonna use them like you use too.
I absolutely cannot wait until ASA Ragnarok comes out, specifically for Tuso Trench. It's my favorite spot on the map, I hope it ends up looking amazing!

This is a fact, all twins in ark are the same gender syntac, if one is female the other one is and if one is male the other one also is. I got triplets and twins in ark, all same gender as their brothers

One thing I like to do in the swamps is clean the area with the argy, like, deforest a nice area, this way it is much easier to see stuff and also gives you a sense of progression as you clean a larger and larger area, I really hate trees on Ark, the obstruct the vision so much...
I wish a normal varient of the Lyplurodon was in the game. Those things would have been amazing water mounts. Especially since the real versions were enormous.

what i've noticed for headshots, if it's not obvious.. then the location is under the chin /lower jaw area. (easy to test, just crouch and stab/shoot something )
Hello sir, what are your breeding settings for ASA? Same as ASE like Fjordur? Is the breeding process the same as before ASA. I used your method in ASE and worked perfect, no issues, made monsters lol.

you could just f12 to save the stats, I do that on every tame so I can easily organize them without the need of even opening the game, also screenshots wont crash, can't say that at all about ASA lol

I don’t know if it’s you game or not but the goggles do help a bit they reduce the ocean fog a bit, clearer vision and extend the range view of the ocean a bit as well.
He says they don't help but never takes his goggles off to check.
Hi Syntac, love the vids. Have you considered using the Super Spyglass Mod for breeding only? It's handy since it tells you the stats of the creatures so you don't have to write them down, you can also make it so it does not show for wild dinos. I usually only have it in my base and for breeding only.
I immediately went to look into who Dustin the Turkey was.
Imagine my embarrassment when I realized you couldn't pick the Bary up anymore. Had to make a shite ton of walls to block the one I was taming in. I have 3 now. But it is a pain in the tushy to not be able to pick them up from the most dangerous spots on the map and tame them somewhere secure.
Metal billboard + bear trap works for just about every creature
You should do some otter breeding in this series. I love otters and it would be amazing to see beautiful colors. The mutations I would go for on them are health, weight for hauling artifacts, and stamina and melee for its warming ability in cold biomes. It would be amazing to have an imprinted otter on your shoulder.
Why Stamina? Afaik the only thing that affects the airconditioning (the correct word has escaped my brain) strength is Melee.. At least thats the case in ASE.. Points in Stamina would almost be more of a waste than pumping them into food..

The sea scorpion things are really easy to kill you uses a crossbow and shot them with arrows they didn't swim off the sea floor but they would fly if you take them out of the water
I feel like you should be killing every Spino on sight cause grinding for their sails later when you need them for the boss is a pain in the ass
I really like the stuff you do it is always enjoying to watch and helps me around while playing myself. Also you can check in the tribe menu what gender your Creatures are aswell as track them when they are lost somewhere. 😅
There are some places in the ocean where the border does have scenery. I don't know why they didn't do it everywhere.

Yeah they could set the sea barrier to legit function as a mirror image of the rest of the ocean....you flat out couldn't do that in UE4 tho. Not sure on the details of why, but the UE4 engine just can't do mirrors.

the thumbnail bary loooks extremely similar to a youtuber called Schwalbe’s mutated bary, only difference being the cyan and purple being switched around.

In Asa baryonxes get amazing stats because they can’t get points into oxygen or move speed so I’ve got base 55+ on the 4 important stats and an insane 62 hp stat
