- The Supreme Court has upheld the ED's right to arrest under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). The court said, the process of arrest of ED is not arbitrary. The Supreme Court has upheld the ED's power to investigate, arrest and attach property. The petition also questioned the existing conditions of the bail.
