Ostseebad Laboe | Promenade, beach & marine memorial-The Baltic seaside resort Laboe [laˈbøː] is a community in the provost's office in the Plön district in Schleswig-Holstein on the east bank of the Kiel Fjord, approx. 10 km north of the state capital Kiel.
From Kiel you can take the car, the bus or the ferry, with the ferries of the Schlepp-und Fährgesellschaft Kiel (SFK).
In Laboe you can expect a 2km long fine bathing beach, a promenade that is at least as long and of course the well-known naval memorial and the U-995 submarine museum.
For a day trip from Kiel to Laboe, the ferry is the best option in the summer months.
