My dad just reunited with a former girlfriend, and they first dated when she was 18 and he was 25. Women, even at teen years (or maybe even more so), are more mature than boys. They don't have quinces for boys - here the boys don't get their big party until they are 18. There's a reason for that. College and distance could be issues in the future. My friend graduated Arkansas Tech and Russellville is a lovely town! Brooklyn, you should consider visiting there- maybe you would both like it there instead of Texas!
