I could type essays on this, but in short, IV is a masterpiece. Everything about it, mechanics, story, atmosphere all mesh perfectly to acheive the goal the game set for itself. Up there with the best ever. V is a mixed bag, one riddled with both greatness and mediocrity in every aspect, making the overall package a confused, unfocused mess of both what did and didn't stick on the wall when thrown at it.
Gta 6 had better include euphoria physics like this again. Everytime you shoot someone in gtav, it's pretty much the same animations, despite being physics based. Rockstar needs to look back at gta 4 and especially red dead redemption physics and reimplement them into gta 6.
I think they should include actual gore in gta 6. When you shoot someone in the head their brains will blow out, and when you shoot someone with a shotgun in a limb, it will cause dismemberment.
this game is way funnier for the shit happens when you go on a rampage. gta 5 is funny until you have 3 stars, then the civilians leave. in this game, the civilians still stayed, so more random shit occured. i personally like gta 4 better than 5 because i played gta 4 first, and its fun lasted way longer than an hour

Tbh Gta 4 has some lead on Gta V in certain ways. Like, I love the bodily reactions from the people who are shot in Gta 4. In Gta V people are more stiff and die to quickly when they're shot. Also Gta V has hundreds of buildings, but over 90% of them can't even be entered in single player smh...you cant even go into a simple hospital like in Gta 4 or Burger Shot. but i still Love Gta V💘

A lot of people shit on GTA V for downgrading the physics but don't understand that there are limitations, GTA V originally released on xbox 360 and PS3 which are dated. So imagine how GTA V would run with amazing physics with really good graphics and a massive open world on an old console. It would literally have like 20 and lower frames per second and also cause crash issues most likely.
It does have next gen support; it's was remastered for playstation four and it's coming for ps five as well. GTA five is the most dick rode GTA of all time, it's the only GTA I've known that's been supported by three generations of consoles. Also the reason why GTA five gets shit on for the physics and downgrades is because GTA IV did all those incredible things on playstation3 tech so it made no sense why Rockstar cheapened the gameplay experience in that avenue.
@@slygunslinger I know that, but like you said on your RDR1 playthrough they didn't focus on updating the story mode at all. Meaning they won't give a shit for updating the physics engine because all they care about is money which you're right. And yeah everyone was pissed when it got announced for PS5 because it's obvious they're gonna try and milk that as well. The only updates I see is adding cars that have the same stats but different models. Another thing to take in as well is that they don't really care to much about the euphoria engine when it comes to GTA V because it doesn't matter to them, they don't care about gameplay as long as they make money from it. They did make it better in RDR2 gladly which gives me hope for the next rockstar game. Edit: also GTA IV didn't have much content in it and wans't a big game so they were able to make those beautiful physics that we see in your vids without killing the frames.
@@dregsloff5818 Great point but in all honesty, I would prefer a game that plays great and doesn't have much to do mission wise, than a game filled with missions and content but the gameplay feels cheap.
