Sohrab Sepehri(Iran) : Farsi to Urdu Translation by Anwar Iqbal : Urdu Studio with Manish Gupta

Sohrab Sepehri (Persian: سهراب سپهری; October 7, 1928 - April 21, 1980) was a notable Iranian poet and a painter. He is considered to be one of the five most famous Iranian poets who have practiced modern poetry alongside Nima Youshij, Ahmad Shamlou, Mehdi Akhavan-Sales, and Forough Farrokhzad. Sepehri's poems have been translated into several languages including; English, French, Spanish, Italian, Lithuanian and now in Urdu.

You must check out Abbas Kiarostami movies which is deeply influenced by Persian shayar and poems. He was itself a poet. His one of the most prominent movie is itself adaptation on Sepehri's poem Khane-ye dust kojast (Where is my friend's house?)
