Looks exactly like my Winchester safe. Same pouches and interior. Love that safe, I put a motion light that comes on when you open it and a dehumidifier. It will serve you well.👍
I got the smaller one that Costco has for 300. I’m happy with it. It will keep the kids away from the hardware and documents reasonably safe. They delivered right to the room I wanted. Thanks fir the review chief!!
In the description online it mentions a 3/8" predrilled hole for a dehumidifier...did you add one? That just doesn't seem like it would even be larger enough for a cord to pass through.
Is this the Bighorn 18.46 cu. ft. Executive Safe? It does not say how many long guns fit in there you mention 24 but I'm not sure if i am looking at the same one. Is about $550 online right now
@@HeritageFarmsTexas I end up ordering either way I think on the website it says 24 long guns but on the phone app it doesn't say anything. Will see I will get it next week
I purchased the safe and it arrived yesterday. I programmed the code and it worked but an hour later I cannot get in. I saw you couldn't get in at the beginning of the video. How did you get it to open?
I’d say just ignore any negative comments about your choice of safe. People should be able to buy what they like and what they see fit their needs and not what everyone else think is better or is what they should buy.
Amen. My thought process on going with something like this vs a Liberty. If someone wants in it that bad, or it’s on fire for that long, oh well 😂 this works perfectly fine for the money
Based on the weight of 600 lbs. and price of $900+ it sounds like you purchased the 24 cu. ft. Safe. I contacted Rhino safes and they do not recommend you remove the door for fear of damaging the safe/hinges. I contacted Costco and was told they are restocking this safe in about a week...I hope!
@@Lwm557 Yes, but that’s the 18.46 cu. ft. Gun safe. I’m hoping they bring back the Big Horn 24 cu. ft. Gun safe which Costco sells for $999.99. People I know who have gun safes always wished they would have gone larger. 😞. I just hope if Costco does bring back the 24 cu. ft. Gun safe that it’s on sale😁
@@BlueCollarBen Good luck with that! It’s been almost two months since the Costco customer service rep told me they were getting more 24cu ft safes and I’m still waiting.
I have this exact safe. Im curious, how come no one addresses the horrific smell from the inside of this safe??? Ive tried everything. Its awful. Any comments? Thanks
Not sure what to tell you. My safe had no smell to it. I’m very pleased with it. You might try putting a box of baking soda in there. Take the lid off of it. It should soak up any odors.
@@HeritageFarmsTexas Spoke to Rhino Metals. They suggested a plate of coffee for a few days followed by dryer sheets. Problem is I dont just want to mask it, I want it gone.
I recommend buying fire bags for your documents and photos and cash and hard drives. They are cheap ($20 each). Look at videos after fires...insides are a mess. 2 is 1, 1 is none.

Thank you Sr. for the review of your gun safe!

really nice safe. Good, detailed overview of the safe!

I would love a safe like that. Very nice.
Thanks Voon, It’s mostly full of pictures and videos of the kids. Some of our most valuable possessions.

Hello, I did not add one. I just left some of those charcoal packs in there to absorb any moisture.
It’s better than the one I have, I need to invest in one myself. Take care, stay safe and may God continue to bless you and your family in 2020.

@@gMoStatus I get it next Wednesday
I ordered one too the day the deal went up. I check Costco.com a day later in my area and it’s already sold out.
How were you able to get the skids off of the bottom of the safe?
Hello, they had a couple of bolts. We tilted to one side, removed the metal runner then repeated for other side.
@@HeritageFarmsTexas Thanks
I just bought the winchester 12 safe and haven't opened it yet I'm really debating on getting one of these instead
Hello, I’m not familiar with the Winchester 12. I can tell you I’m happy with this safe so far. Thanks for watching. Good luck.
Did it come in a discreet box? Or was it obvious that it was a gun safe in the box?
It was pretty obvious.
Thank you for the great video. Did it come with a key by chance?
No it did not.

Do you have the model number for this safe?
Hello, thanks for watching. Unfortunately, I do not have the model number. Sorry. We bought it off the Costco website.

We have the same one … forgot the combination! Any help ? Thanks
Hello. Not sure what to do. Check on line for manual. Or call local safe co. I think those locks are common.
You have to call customer support, provide prof of purchase pay 25 dollars and they will send you the master combination.
