    How many taxi drivers will NOT cheat their car owners in Ghana? In Qatar, these same drivers would be scared to death to do the same.

  • @emmanuelcrayon7730
    @emmanuelcrayon7730 Před rokem +9

    4200 QR for 6 days a week job is quite small (it’s about £1000) even when you consider the free accommodation and company paid health insurance. Sometimes the drivers are also forced to pay traffic fines out of their own pockets. Anyway, it’s much better than what taxi drivers make in Gh.

    • @emmanuelcrayon7730
      @emmanuelcrayon7730 Před rokem +5

      Check Zion felix’s interviews in France and listen to the amount of money the taxi drivers there are making (usually over 4500 euros per month. some even earn up to €10,000 ). They also work whenever they want to and have enough time to rest (The legal working days of the week are 5 and correspond to 8 hours a day unless the employee wants to do overtime). Most of you people are very ignorant about taxation (I don't blame y'all due to lack of experience). Paying taxes, national insurance and other deductions gives you an undisruptable entitlement to job seekers allowance (when you are unemployed or looking for job), free universal healthcare which covers even severe forms of illness like kidney failures/ cancers, and massive social benefits such as very cheap or even free council houses, free pre-university education (University is literally free for all legal residents in most EU countries), monthly stipends for children and their mothers and so on. You are also entitled to holidays pay packages, fully paid sick leave, and pension stipends till your last breath when you reach the age of retirement.
      If you subtract all the deductions, rent, bills, food and miscellaneous expenses, a taxi driver in Europe or North America/Australia can save more than £2000 (currently about 32,000 Ghs) every month if he works 6 days a week. There is no point arguing here. The accommodation being provided to workers in the Gulf countries are usually just bed spaces or places where you can barely live with your family or even invite your gf or bf for sexual needs.

    • @emmanuelcrayon7730
      @emmanuelcrayon7730 Před rokem +2

      @Ptrendz Just stating facts bro. I'm really happy that he makes about 16,000 Ghs each month over there. However, it seems small considering the number of days and maybe hours he works per week. In the Western countries, workers earn per hour and so the more hours you work the more money you make.

      @Emmanuel Justice Osei Masa don’t be an ignorant bloke. Illegal immigration is already a crime and that’s why we always advise travellers to do so through the legal means. Did I talk about illegal migrants in my comment anyway??? Those guys in the Gulf countries whose visas have expired, don’t they mostly sleep on the streets??? You cannot even deport yourself or voluntarily leave those countries when you overstay. In the Western countries, they even take care of asylum seekers and give them free documents when their applications are successful. The guys you know who legally live in Europe and are complaining are not smart enough or are just lazy ( they only do 8 hours a day for 5 days a week if they are labourers. Some only depend on government social benefits). They also live above their means trying to impress others and act God by feeding most of their family members and friends back home rather than investing in themselves.
