Seeing the words on the screen, “Here and now” reminded me of Aldous Huxley’s book “Island”; where mynah birds flew freely and called out, “Here and now! Here and now!”. That image struck a powerful chord and has stayed with me ever since I read the book aged about 13 years - I’m now approaching my 70’s 🤗
Grand rising and happy new year from south Florida! I discovered you guys almost a year ago early in the morning. The teaching on interbeing changed my view. Since feb I've meditated everyday (only missed one). The practice has helped me changed my life and most importantly I've passed the flame to the people around me. Im so thankful and appreciative of you all . May anyone reading find a lotus from the mud 🌺🌺.

We need happiness right now in raising my grandkids and all. 6 if us tested positive on Christmas day we had 13 days if sickness we were possive and happy i still cooked Christmas dinner and we laughed cause we could not eat . I never told my husband or grandkids how sick i was cause i didn't want them to worry they were so sick i honestly thought 2 if them were in grave danger I suffered with coughing im still coughing 28 days now but im still happy

Challenge is to open up to all the nourishment that is there around embracing you. Like monastics not feel lonely but train to see with the inside of interbeing. A bowl of food is Mother Earth loving you and caring for you. The trees are there for you the birds are there the earth is there for you.
