ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

To explain the collar, he wore that in Fantastic Four #5, his first appearance way, way, way back in 1962 (before he added a cape to his ensemble). It can also be seen in the Ed Brubbaker "Books of Doom" miniseries from around 2005.

Those patterns on the original images were for Hasbro to see where leaks were coming from. Every vendor had a different pattern.

6:10 I believe those patterns on the promo images were there to help Hasbro identify where leakers were coming from. I'm pretty sure the patterns were different for every retailer so that if whichever image leaked first, Hasbro would know which retailer it was being leaked from.

Doctor Doom has always been one of my favorite Marvel characters of all time. He’s just a straight up badass villain.
The patterns in the promo image were a water mark; I heard they were putting different water marks on the promo images they send to the sellers (Amazon, Walmart, BBTS, etc) so, if a filtration occurs, they can track where it was from

Honestly I want to get the original Doctor Doom that came out either earlier this year or late last year and then get this guy as like an upgrade for some stop motion videos I have plan. Like an emperor Dr Doom.

@@MarvelWars619 I wish I could do animation better all I'm really doing is basic stop motion which I need to get back into works of doing. I've taken quite a hiatus not being able to find a time. And off and on working on custom figures. Going to think I think I should reveal those custom figures soon. I'm just trying to find a direction to put my channel in for I can be on the same format but still feel original and unique.

Doom is both a master of technology and magic, being the second most powerful sorcerer on earth only bested by Dr strange.
Doom has been drawn all different heights, however his height is listed at being 6'7" in his armor. That's the same height as Thanos, taller than thor, taller than iron man, while I don't need a Doom that is that large, I would like a doom figure that is slightly larger than the new ones.
If you want to spruce up Doom's magic you can add the magic effect from the Hulkbuster Doctor Strange, the colors match pretty good
The red book is the Book of the Vishanit (its symbol is called the Seal of the Vishanti), the black book is the Darkhold. The collar corresponds to Doom's first appearance, though he didn't use it in conjuction with the cape back then. Just the collar.
You could probably use this as a doom bot and use the skrull wave one as doctor doom
exactly what I plan on doing, although I have two of the skrull wave dooms. (necessary so you can make a second super skrull with minimal purchases---Doom/Mr Fantastic/Invisible woman)
I have the amazing doom from the last Skrull wave already but these accessories are a nice add-on. Can’t justify buying another though.

Hey Russ, I would have liked to see a comparison with Infamous Iron Man.
I'm willing to bet we will see another Fantastic Four wave with this packaging in their classic black & white uniforms.
They should have every Doom toy come with like an extra head & chest piece so you can swap them out to turn them into a doombot that way you always have your favorite figure as Doom & the others don't go to waste.

I passed on getting this one. I'm happy with the super skrull baf version.
Get a cloth cape and tunic to replace the plastic ones. It enhances your DOOM figure ten fold. Much better articulation and if you go for a cape with a wire in it you can get some really awesome dynamic poses.
I can see people buying a couple of these and taking the cape off and making them Doombots

My theory, Doctor Doom 2019 (Super-Skrull Wave) is the REAL DOCTOR DOOM. Retro FF Wave 2021 Doctor Dooms are DOOMBOTS! The eyes have no fleshtone on the Retro Wave Doom, but the Super-Skrull version has fleshtone paint around the eyes. Doom fools the FF again!

So this Dr. Doom was not comic accurate.Only the collar from his first appearance. The rest is Hasbro's take on what Doom should look like in a retro packaging. Super Skrull wave Dr. Doom still looks way way better.

There's that nasty spot right on the middle of your camera lens again. Forget the coffee stain, remove the nasty spot from the lens or clean the sensor of the camera.
Those can lens have been frequented by spots. Everytime I watch his reviews, the spots are so noticeable.

The original Secret Wars and Marvel Super Heroes versions were great toys as was the one this ones packaging is based on.

Also, the cloth material (whatever the hell it is called) has been around since his first appearance (both with and without the use of his cape). Check of Books of Doom (2005), he is shown wearing that, especially on the cover of issue 4.

Why not just customize the skrull wave doom? You can get total cloth goods for him. I cut the old tunic off saved the belt put the cloth goods on with the old belt. Looks great
