The lead vocal just seems a bit too squashed. It is losing definition and articulation. Everything else has great presence, yet the vocal seems too smooth against that background.

Actually it's a pretty hard vocal to mix imo. Surprisingly hard.
I feel like this mix is a little easier on the ears , more of a tonal balance overall in my opinion . Let me know what you think
