The lyrics touch us because we know it's truth. The resonator guitar touches us because it harkens back to a simpler time. His voice touches us because it has passion and a cry in his powerful voice that we feel in our hearts. He is touching the heart of the world wherever an incompetent corrupt conflict/division creating governments and greedy corporations lie, cheat, abuse and steal from the people. That's everywhere today. Lord, it's a damn shame.
