I will continue the Village series however in the meantime I built this building playing with roof designs and thought I would share it!

I've watched 1-2 of your videos. It was pleasing. I've seen it was professional work, with some exceptional editing and preparation (with materials stacked around, call calculated/prepared etc).

I love your videos. I've built many a Viking village using them. I have one suggestion though - it would be helpful to know the base dimensions at the beginning because sometimes you go so quickly that it's hard to count. :) Other than that, your builds are beautiful and flawless!

Nice getaway house! I think you've got me inspired to work on a fancy river cottage I've been thinking of building for my server's jarl, away from the mainland. Mine'll use a design like this but the lower floor will be sunken into the ground near river level for a dock.

Amazing build. Yet, a fairly simple build. However, extremely well landscaped and interior decorated. When I first looked at the house, I almost thought Japanese for the house. But maybe if the roof curved more maybe. I think you can also build this house on top on a snow mountain as well. I often find I study these builds more for the landscaping and interior decoration inspiration choices in my own builds.
I've been watching a lot of your build videos and I have to say amazing work, but I have to ask, "Do you get to the cloud district very often? Oh what am I saying of course you don't."
The exterior structure reminds me of a pagoda.

What type of roof tiles are those? I’m early game so I’ve never seen them before, or even heard of them for that matter.
This build looks awesome and I enjoy building your buildings on a server I play but this looks like a lot of tar usage. :)

@@riteasrain I saw that one, super cool! But you can actually carve a hole under a copper ore. Theres was more of a hobbit inspired home vs a hole itself. I have made a couple in the game but it would be cool if they did it with the new build pieces. They are far better at building than I am!
I love the hobbit buildings architecture, especially the interior in those films. I just don't think I can do it justice on Valheim, we have a modular house design that is kinda Hobbit like but not built in terrain. Check, Courtyard House Build Video to get an idea of what I mean

You basically just need tar for most of it. Can be found in newly discovered (!) plains :)

this build is gorgeous, but the video editing is very hindering because you didnt include the building of the second floor inside at all, you dont include the number of stone blocks or the spacing of anything, most build vids include that information. your music is great and relaxing, but it would be nice to have more information when you build, like what build piece are you using, (roof angle,etc.) your builds are very difficult to replicate properly because you leave out so much, including decorating the house, but mainly i was so disappointed to get to the end of the video and see that the interior part of the build wasnt included at all.

Our videos are aimed to be more for inspiration than guides, unless they say "How To" in the title.
We have done plenty of interior decoration timelapse videos, but interior is very preference based and is very time consuming to edit in a way that makes sense!
I am sorry it didn't help you, we do let people download our world saves so they can get a closer look if they are having issues replicating!

Soooooooo... much Tar and Iron went into such a tiny construction. Nightmare resources efficiency.
