A rem 700 is just a range toy or a box blind rifle by my standards. Having a bolt that doesn't lock closed is a deal breaker. Spend any amount of time crawling through alder tangles and you'll see why. Put a light weight folding stock on a Mark5 backcountry and I'll be throwing a pile of money your way for several new rifles.
