We took an opportunity for a vacation and couldn't have asked for a better experience aboard the Disney Wish.
Looks like an incredible cruise! My friend and his family just went on the Wish and said it was one of the best cruises she has ever been on . Arrandelle looks like such a fun time and the food looks mouth watering! What a bonus to see the fireworks from the comfort of you’re own balcony. Castaway Cay is so beautiful! WOW! I've never been on a cruise before, but this video and Chef Shima's cruise video make me want to go on a cruise. It's hard to believe that there are so many things to do on a boat. Your room was amazing--the bowl of fruit was very nice. I'm sure that the food was good at all other times, too. The Star Wars-themed bar looked really cool, too.

Looks like a pretty sweet ship. Amenities out the wazoo. The ship (Pilot) that you saw along side the ship is (Normally) a pilot is brought aboard when entering a port to navigate the local water ways in which they are distinctly familiar with, thus preventing groundings and collisions with obstructions/bridges, etc.. Beautiful cruise, thanks for sharing with us.

This ship is gorgeous. We always splurge on a balcony room too. I love that tile inlay in the shower.
We did the Concierge level when we went from Alaska to Canada .

What a fabulous experience! Loved that they provided retro postcards - I remember spending half a day on each vacation writing postcards to family and friends, lol! I loved being shown around the cruiseship. Your advice, tips and review will be so helpful for those thinking about choosing this cruise. So happy to see how many views you are getting on this video. We loved coming along with you both on this beautiful cruise, Theresa and Cam. Concierge level too! Your cabin looks very nice and with a balcony too. So uncrowded in your area. Beautiful cruise and great tip on starboard to see the fireworks. I'm afraid we'd avoid the sunrise stretch both days. 😁😁Be worn out before breakfast. Looks like you both had a great time. Never been on a cruise ship before but don’t think I could handle the crowds of people , heck I can’t even go to the Mall when it’s time for Christmas shopping. Thank God for Amazon and the woods. Cabin looks to be well appointed and the whole ship looks pretty impressive. Maybe someday I will crawl outta my shell.

so just for some clarity, every harbor you pull into in the world has a harbor pilot, and that's what you saw pulling in. The bring on a pilot to help the ship navigate different ports.

We’ve never tried the Pelican side, hopefully it’s not too crazy LOL! I do love how quiet the Serenity Bay side is. I can’t wait until they open their second island they are developing too. So much to look forward to. Have a fantastic time on your cruise!
I know right? I'm hoping I can secure a cabana to make this Pelican side experience a bit better. The cabana at Serenity looks like heaven, I crave that one. Albeit kiddo is 17 she looks like 20 I'm not taking a chance booking on the serenity side of things, we will wait until next time. Also paying DCL $$$ I hate we have gone back to regular muster, I feel like they hate their customers. Oh well
You’re so right about being safer than sorry, you never know! Plus, I’m wondering if they can see ages on the Key to the World anyway when scanning? I really hope you get one of the cabanas!!! My husband Cam commented that if we didn’t, we likely would only last an hour or two on beach before heading back to ship LOL, which isn’t bad of course. Good luck!!!

How exciting!!! We were so impressed with the sound proofing of this room!!! We couldn’t hear it open it close at all. The sound we did hear though was when the crew (or guests) moved the deck chairs around at one point above our ceiling because it’s under the adult deck. I think it was unusual though and wouldn’t happen often. Have a great trip!

I've only ever been on one Cruise Ship (the Norwegian Jade) and that was for the inaugural Chris Jericho Cruise back in 2018 ... absolutely phenomenal experience! Disney Cruises have now come to Australia (FINALLY) however, and this is the REAL killer - I'm looking at close enough to $10, 000 if I want to take myself, my wife, and our 2 children. Would you say it's worth the money, guys!?
Oh my goodness! It’s always so tough for a family with more ppl to pay for; I would say it depends on how many days those dollars will get you on the cruise. I’ve heard many ppl say it was worth it; but maybe if you wait until the Australia hype levels out, it will be less expensive?
@@FlourEggsYeast I keep seeing different numbers, but a 4-5 day cruise with Disney (in Australia) is around - give or take a couple of hundred dollars - $2,000 per person as a 'starting price'.

It looks lovely but my luck the ship won't reach it's destination...not in something epically tragic like the Titanic but idiotically stupid like Concordia (look up Internet Historian's video on Concordia to realize just how much stupidity was going on)
Not to worry this is a well ran ship that runs a tight schedule and stays upright on the way out haha
