To be fair, the Shadow-Shadow Fruit is the only reason that form exists. And Nightmare Luffy has the same weaknesses as Moria.
Though I do agree I'd like to see it again at some point, Thriller Bark had an epic final boss fight.
Yeah Oda should've extended that fight so we see more of Nightmare Luffy's abilities like combining sword skills with stretching to do long-ranged stabs and slashes.

Nightmare Luffy didn’t have the same hype for me as Gear 2 did, I guess it lacked hype because of the arc it was in since I really dislike Thriller Bark. The end of the arc was really good though.

It's so cool that theres more when someome awakes his devil fruits to go even fruther. nuts. This form has something really badass because it's not like "look I'm buff now" or looks really serious or something but rather on a smiley and chill side, like he doesn't care at all. Small and with a smile but he win the fight anyways. That's what badass is. man I love one piece

With Gear 5, his heart is beating at a certain beat (drums of liberation) and I believe that gear 2 is working toward gear 5 and that’s why it powered him up

Due to the nature of Nika, I like the thought of him being called Joy Boy as well as Straw Hat. When you see him use Gear 5th, he really looks like he's having a lot of fun. Besides, there's most likely more to that form than we already know. In one of the recent chapters, the Gorosei speaks of Luffy's fruit. That it's actually a zoan type and not a paramecia. They called it the Gomu Gomu no Mi just to hide the truth about the fruit. A fruit that had eluded the World Governemnt for a long time. The Hito Hito no Mi Model: Nika. Maybe it'll be his last gear, and he'll end up mastering his arsenal of haki and Ryuo (technically they're the same. Like Hyogoro said, the outside world calls it haki, but in Wano it's called Ryuo). I really hope we get to see the full potential of Nika in the future, because that one time we've seen it, it just feels like a tiny fragment of that power. Only Oda can tell us that once the time is right.
He’s definitely gonna make his Haki stronger and learn to use Gear 5th so he can clash with Shanks and Black Beard equally. We know Gear 5th cant beat Kaido alone since the fight had been going on for a while but in the future he almost definitely will.
@@OmegaQuinn Yeah. I thik the final war wil bee Blackbeeard, but the final "boss" will be Shanks. At the end of the Wano arc, Shanks say "Hey Beckman. Let's go claim it. The One Piece." There's something about Shanks that I can't fully understand. He's a good man, but at the same time, I just get a feeling of dread. There's something about Shanks that hee doesn't want anyonee to find out. It also still doesn't explain why he was with the Gorosei to speak about a "certain pirate". There's so much that doesn't add up.

I though the fire from his red hawk attack would come from his devil fruit, because he was fighting for aces devil fruit and his fruit actually being the mythical zoan human human type Nika, he could transform his attack into anything he could imagine and as I said he was (I think) imagining Ace. I always knew luffy's devil fruit couldn't be as simple as rubber and that is confirmed truth. But this got me thinking about what other ideas I have that might come through or close to something that happened and one of the biggest theories I had was that Marshall D. Teach is not the a villain but he knows something very important about the world and choose the villain route to prepare for it

1:05 Goru Goru No Mi is a completely different fruit. Goru Goru No Mi is the gold fruit which is a paramecia fruit which allows the user to telekinetically control gold. I think that the fruit that you’re looking for is actually the Goro Goro No Mi which is the thunder fruit which Enel wields which is a Logia which allows the user to become, produce, and manipulate electricity specifically, lightning and/or thunder.

Luffy is the prophesized reincarnation of a god. The _Model: Nika_ devil fruit sought Luffy out specifically because he is that reincarnation.
