I love the way it looks, it's the perfect touch of modern and classic. Modern style rims but still has sidewall. Led lights that look so good. The fact that he kept the old motor and trans. Love it. It's awesome.
My stepdads brother had 72 road runner. I remember as a pre teen how cool I thought it was. Love this episode.
This old bird is absolutely stunning! I love the 71' body style, you just don't see these anymore, Uncle Tony would be proud!
Yes he would.
Mopar or no car! Sweet man bro had me 2 roadrunners 1968 ,69 now I have a nice 1970 challenger with a 440magnum hemi orange yours looks like mine nice!
Man I would love to have one of these, nice blue. But everything underneath is a 392 Challenger, Brakes, Reliability, Safety etc.
This guy nailed it with the small touches here and there. That’s a sharp Mopar 👍🏻
The more I see these Roadrunners, the more I appreciate the look.
Awesome he kept his first car , and great it's back on the road and better but still original 😀👍🏽👍🏽
Great story with this one
Perfect. Not a huge fan of modern wheels on classics but the Weld's with that rubber are bang on.
I agree not always a fan of modern wheels or big wheel on old muscle
Everybody’s always a critic 😂
Cool car. Love the not so common Mopars.
Gotta give them Mopars respect
I love his headlights. I like little futuristic details on a historic car.
That stroked 400 doesn’t fuck around! Super clean Runner sir! Hats off to you for being able to keep your ride all this time!🇨🇦
That style of Roadrunner has such a unique look. Old Chargers and Challengers are awesome, but I'd pick the '71 Roadrunner over both of those.
Same here ! 71 / 72 Roadrunners are too Cool
Very cool driver without too much custom work, especially since he’s had it since 1975.... great story behind the connection he has with it!
That car will put hair on a baby's chest! Daaa'aamn!! Beautiful car, thanks for showing us cool cars as usual 👍
Awesome Roadrunner. Love the sound and look. Killer engine, I have a 72 with a 440 6 pack, 4 speed and Manuel brakes.
Awesome!! I love his story with this car
Always been a fan of the 71-72 Plymouth satellite road runner gtx’s . Never get the full respect they deserve such as the 67-70 roadrunner’s
It's coming tho.
That thing sounds terrific.
Great looking Mopar
James what a awesome car. I love the older mopars. Nice, nice, car.
Man thats one beautiful badass 71 Plymouth Roadrunner.
This has become a time machine.
Great cars/stories.
Nice intro.
Cool. Kept it since high school. Wish I had done the same. Very nice. Rare body style. 👍😎🤩😛
Cool car, cool story, cool guy!
Column shift KILLER, beautiful car my friend.
From 1971 when these were released to today...if your dad drops you off at school in this car, you're the coolest kid in the school.
Truth!
Bold move putting the Challenger T/A style hood on, It looks good.
No kidding , it sure looks good and keeps it Mopar. nicely done.
Really nice car and history nice a nice guy like that having fun respect from Uk fan
Great engine build and mods to the car.
Sounds amazing too.
Definitely and I love that he’s had it since 1975! 2nd owner
1 of the best big block muscle cars in history.
First time I see a T/A hood scoop on a B body it’s actually looks awesome on the car. The 400 strokers are the best big block mopar combos.
That is a BOSS move ,Air grabber would have been it tho.
Sweet bird! 71/72 Roadrunners are totally badges. Meep meep!
Cool ride with a great story
Thank you autotopia La you guys are awesome and the cars y'all cover are great y'all's videos are amazing I love cars and it makes my day watching y'all's videos thank you and God bless y'all
Realy nice car💪👀
Don't like the wheels, don't like the headlights, but I definitly love the car and this dude !
Very nice car. I like it when a car is a long time with one owner. It is close to original and in very good shape. And I have a lot of power.
Great story of ownership with this one
@@AutotopiaLA indeed and you can see this dude love his car. It's rare that you have a car so long. Thumps up to the owner.
Wow! That's an incredible street muscle! It would be the ideal machine for Dom Toretto;-)
Perfect for Dom. He could make it do wheelies too 😂
You're never to old to have fun!!! 😆😆😆
Nope!
Beautiful, one of my favorite cars 71 Road Runner, its set up is perfect. I love that body style wouldn't change a thing. Thanks again Sean 👍
Lucky man! Not everyone still has their car from high school.
I know! Wish I still had my ‘70 Mustang
I love this car…
BEAST!! That car is baller!
Bad ass Mopar !
Gawd I love this car! Can’t beat the sound of a NA engine… really like your vid’s, you encompass so many different builds and various cars. Love that he kept the interior theme close to stock.
what a great Roadrunner...! 71-2 Roadrunner are my favorite cars. congrats to the owner of that car
So clean & mean, you just can't beat Mopar resurrected rides that live on today!
Two different motor head buddies in high school drove these...a 1971 and a 1974. They're big but they can be made to boogie. It was fun going out on weekend nights and trolling for challengers.
Maaan this thing looks and sounds amazing!! I absolutely love a nice clean road runner!!!!
I love orange. And this baby is KALEAN lol
BEAUTIFUL ride. Very tasteful.
Sweet ride ,all nice touches, glad he kept it..
Love everything about this car.
BEAUTIFUL CAR !!!!
Love this!!!
What a beast of a car
Kick butt Bird!~ Waytogo that thing looks to be completely - Set Up! Love the Flat hood with the added T/A Challenger scoop.
Beautiful Hot rod🤟. Clean build
Beautiful ride!!!
Love the story - the car, the people, that’s what it’s all about.
Very tasteful build. 👍🏻
Love this one. Beautiful car. Just the way i like my cars.
Sweet ride 🤙🏼
That car is AWESOME!!!! Would have loved to be his friend in high school! Thanks for sharing!
@@rickstorm4198 Never a bad time to start! At the time I was referring to when I drove my '72 Plymouth back in high school. I was the only Mopar lover in Ford and Chevy land.
awesome he kept the car all these years, no a/c and a column shift, nice job on the build
I love it each time Shawn gets excited like a little kid with those beautiful cars, I wish I had a job like that too! :-)
When patience pays off garage kept 30 year keeping it rust free.
This car's resto mods are tastefully done so nice
71 bird road running no doubt .
Great story. Keeping it real
Like everything about this car, but the T/A hood it's your car tho.I like the fact that you kept it old school with very little change.I 'v own a 71 sassy grass green GTX at one time with a hemi sticker(but it had a 383) like the fact that you've brung attention to the 2 nd gen B-body. Cool A$$ car tho.
Beautiful old school muscle 👍
Done Very Nice!!
I love it👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Always making good content with bad ass cars
Respect!
Built a 71 with my grandpa over the course of 10 years. Finding the yellow marker lights and taillights without cracks was the bane of our existence. Gotta love the orange with the factory style stripes.
Meep meep BEAUTIFUL ❤️
Always loved this vintage of Roadrunner
I love this car ! I'm having a hard time believing that it has 650hp with a dual plane rpm intake. Lots of tasty mods here.
That's a sweet-looking ride
I prefer the 73/74 Body style... but wow.. this is amazing... I could easily live with this... 😀 .. enjoy in good health.
Brother your car is absolutely mind blowing, Awesome thanks for sharing your gorgeous investment 👍🏼😎
The fact it's not a '68-'70 stands out a little more but overall a mean lookin' machine. Congrats man!
Socialism now that sounds good.
This is what I like. I did modified stock with my 76 Camaro. I hate restomods today. They debadge the whole car, lower it, put ugly rims on it, it just doesn't look good. This on the other hand is a beautiful machine. Nicely Done!
Love it
The car is 🔥🔥🔥🔥
When the juices get going you gotta get er done !
Such an awesome machine..the only things I would change is the exhaust and the trans
Very, very cool!
Diablos amigo que belleza de auto para disfrutarlo manejando por la carretera 💪😎🍺
Nice car, Cool Guy...😎
Dope
Those leds through that grill look wicked
man this thing has balls
Also to cut the hood from stock makes it more functional but I'd take stock hood scoops and point them FORWARD!
Real cool build sounds killer. Interesting story owner seems real humble .
Daaaaamn thats a sick as road runner love these cars i would prefer some cragars on it but thats just me lol great car nothing but american muscle
Gorgeous. Smiled the entire video. Sounds on point as well
Very nice car I am an orange fan
I love muscle cars
I love this car. I had a 1971 Satellite Sebring Plus in high school.
I had the green one in high school...back on 92.. kept having carb problems.. 95 I left to travel and work.. 99 I caome home.. car was at a neighbors house full of coal.. just the body.. I said dad wha what? Sorry son..I put the engine in the farm truck.. many years later...I had a valuable car.. that I hated 😂
Rough story!
Beautiful car!
