    Just another comment. Can you show how to take a 3-wire sensor (input to CPU) and tell which wire is which without a schematic? One is ground the other is VCC and the other is the signal to the CPU. I suppose I could read the voltage at the sensor connector using a back-probe pin test lead with power applied by having the ignition key turned to position 2 (not the accessory position). I could get Ground and VCC using this method and by default the other is the signal pin.

    where i get confused is knowing if a wire connected to a pcm and module/device if its a input or output?many times i look at wire diagram and you have no way of telling

      Inputs gather information (like we do through our senses), outputs do something, move something, etc. Like we do! It’s called biomimicry.
