IT is beyond words. often and often we hear that imdadkhani style of sitar playing is gayaki ang in sitar including sitar tantrakari ang.But in this rendition at some places it has gone beyond gayaki.My heartfull salutations to ustad irshad khan.More than this such a magnificent concert has been recorded and uploaded for listening by all by Haider Adinaji.What a gracefull effort. Haider adinajis service to classical music can not be put in wordsOnly i cxan do this by saluting him also. Haider adinaji when can i expect third part of it.Pl upload it today itself.
The Sitar playing is superb. Anindo Chatterjee's Tabla accompaniment is so restrained yet so effective. There is no showboating by the tablanawaz. This is one of your best postings, Mr. Adina.
It is difficult to add to the accolades in the comments below without repeating what others have already said. Only wish the sound system had done better justice to this gem of a performance. Irshad Khan surpassed himself here with this Des Hori and Tarana. Perhaps the only other point to add would be the tonal quality of the Sitar itself which seems a bit weak and could have been better on a slightly larger sized instrument, and with a thicker baaj string. But perhaps not, I am not sure. I think it may just be the sound system which does not seem to be doing justice to this amazing performance. In 2022 now, perhaps with better video quality and sound technics, might Irshad Khan not consider repeating this performance for the delight of music lovers and connoisseurs all over the world? And where, might one add, are the national awards recognizing the peerless service done by the artists of this Gharana?

It's so sad that sound qulity the organizers didn't cared of .....Such a marvelous piece of music can't be expressed fully without clarity sound
