Eren doesn’t seem very durable but he heals his body incredibly fast and potentially faster than any other Titan shifter. Spoilers: Erens durability seems to improve though after obtaining the War Hammer. During the battle in Shingashina he fights off both Porco and Reiner while receiving several headshots from Anti Titan Artillery.
I feel like that could be more attributed to his healing than his durability. The Warhammer seems like the only other titan shifter with superior healing to the Attack Titan. Eren's Warhammer/Attack Titan hybrid was still getting injured just as easily, but it was getting up time and time again after repeatedly getting it's head blown off. A healing feat that not even the Attack Titan seemed capable of.
Based on the fight against the warhammer titan I think the AT has the most durability behind the cart titan. Noticed how surprise everyone was when Eren was able to transform 3 times and his titan appeared to be at full power.
@@Mannybass what you are talking about is his endurance, not durability. endurance measures how long he can stay in titan from/how many time he can shift while durability measures how many hits he can take before his titan form gets totaled
@@allorfh2495 ah good point. I think Eren's AT durability increased with time just like his endurance. Originally he could only transform once and was eventually overwhelmed by the mindless titans. Then he couldn't transform after fighting Reiner and regrowing his fingers. But in Marley he was able to regrow his leg and eye and transform easily.
I mean, it's called the Attack Titan for a reason. It's not too surprising that it's strength and healing are off the charts compared to most other titan shifters. How else is it supposed to keep moving forward?
This made me realise. Eren uses his hardening for offensive purposes since he's fuelled by revenge. Annie uses her hardening for defensive purposes because she wants to come back home to Marley.
Hey, did you pause the video at around 2:03 and come into the comments section to remind me that titans are lighter than they should be? Because if so, I would like to gently suggest to you that you should watch the next 20 seconds or so of the video before deciding if you should commit to that action. Otherwise, you may end up doing yourself a disservice.
the thing about the punches reminded me of a fight a saw once. The guy was a true fighter through and through he loved it. So, while I was with him in the parking lot outside my school some dude who had beef with him came up and no joke he stood up and punched him so hard that he broke three of his fingers and their knuckles and pulled a tendon. The guy he punch suffered a fractured skull, two blood vessels popping making his eyes go red (and later brown) a black eye, made him unconscious, a fractured tooth, and a broken jaw. Needless to say I made a note to not get into a fight with him.
Id like to believe that Eren spent most of his time pre Marley arc honing his melee combat skills instead of mastering his Titan powers. I mean through out the show and manga Eren just happens to figure out his abilities one by one.
Eren does free Annie, however (SPOILER WARNING) He doesn't free her by using Porco. When Eren took control of the Founding Titan, he undid every titan hardening, which destroyed the walls since they were just hardened titan skin, as well as Reiner's armor and Annie's crystal
The biggest part of the Attack Titan's durability is definitely how effective his regen is. In every fight he's been in you'll notice while his body is easier to damage than many other titans, he regenerates a ridiculous amount. In the fights against Annie, Reiner, Galliard, and the Warhammer titan, he always takes significantly more damage to his titan body than his foe, yet still can incapacitate them. It goes well with the Attack Titan's berserker fighting style so well, obviously intended to be a major part of his titan's strength.
Well... that hit 100 likes quickly. Not gonna make a part 2 till the anime hits somewhere in the chapter 120s, but I'll get to work as soon as it does! Thanks to all the people who left a like! Edit: this now has more than 100 likes...

Nah it's more like Attack titan- 3/5 speed 3/5 durability 3/5 offence attack titan has everything. Others only specialise in one trait but severely lack in some other stat.
One thing that is easy to miss is that Hange only kicked the Titan after she killed it. She noticed that not only was it very light but it was also filled with gas. However titans normally aren’t dead so when fully formed this gas is actually almost pressurizing there body from the inside. I’m no physicist but considering just how hard there skin is I would imagine that this would only further increase their strength. And a fun little side note is that despite how bad Reiner is at using the Armored Titan he actually uses this steam radiating through his titan form to full affect. During his charge of wall Maria you actually see him venting out steam through his mouth after smashing through the gate, and again when Eren had him pinned to the ground during their bout in season 2. Both times he was specifically choosing to vent out steam at the perfect time. He let steam build up inside of his titan body to increase his strength and speed before releasing it after breaking the gate. And against Eren he was probably venting out steam that had been building up throughout the fight to try and relax his form and wiggle out of Eren’s grip. Really a small detail and I could very much be wrong but it’s head cannon to me until proven otherwise.
15 meter high giant that has a stricking power of 500 tons and can probably move and react almost as fast as the speed of sound, plus he is able to control other giants and make giant spikes harder than steel come out of the ground. imagine trying to face that as a regular human with a rifle
@@laniakaea No, I mean like you never see his Titan form evolve. It's the same as from Season One. I expected a cool visual element with the Warhammer. In the manga that is no longer a "base Titan" if you catch my drift.
Before he started hardening his fists, Eren’s fully charged punches would break his arm bones (like in his fight with Annie when he missed her nape and punched the ground).
If titans were like a personality like the hulk, i can imagine how much they'd hate their human counterparts judging from how much damage and sheer brutality they endure
Zenith, good work. I might recommend for durability however that you specify stress instead of tonnage (force). Stress makes more sense as it is Force/Area. Example, Eren can be punched in the face with 10 tons and be fine, but if he's struck with the Warhammer's spike at 10 tons, he will be pierced, and not fine (reduced contact area). Although both are the same force, they create wildly different stresses.
Hey, thanks for the nice comment and the advice. Tonnes is just the standard unit of energy in powerscaling for a lot of people in this community. Because so many are used to using it for this purpose, it's an easy way to communicate raw energy output. But I do understand that area is a very important part of how force is transferred and you are right that my video formula could use some modifying. I think it would be best if I keep the usage of tonnage while also being sure to specify the importance of stress and the type of damage that is being exerted.
he is called the attack titan so he would be much stronger, plus with the boulder u can see the amount of steam he's releasing, thats the boulder breaking his body but it is hinted that the attack titan has the best healing of any titans so while he's holding the boulder he's breaking is body whilst instantly healing the damage
I think endurance is important when talking about durability and his endurance is off the charts compared to the other titans. Everyone was amazed when he made a third titan mid-fight in the attack on Marley. We se Porco not making a new body when the first one was recked and we know that the Armored doesn't have all that much endurance due to the creation of his armor taking a lot out of him. The female titan was said to have a good endurance but we don't know enough about her to say anything. Regardless it is clear that Eren has mastered his Attack titan to the point where his endurance-level is one of (if not THE) highest of all the titan shifters we now of
Still can't believe its ending still been watching it sense 2015 and Im about to stop reading it to end where I began but that's besides the point amazing work on this video man!
I once saw that Eren regeneration was one of the higest amongs Titans but I'm assuming that is because of the Founder titan not the Attack, anyways both power make a perfect match.
You should also cover the part where Eren battles the Warhammer Titan, gets dismembered and hung in the air by its spikes, then jumps out of his Titan body and immediately resummons a new Attack Titan. We haven't seen any Titan shifter able to do that before, they all have to rest for a little while before they're able to summon their Titan again. That's something new and it even surprised the Marleyans watching the battle, who know all about Titan powers.
Good video, I like how you addressed the weak points of the science. The scouts blades aren't made of steel though, but in the anime its not explained ^^
That's a bit dumb. You shouldn't quit a show because of that...please don't spoil yourself, there still tons of Sasha for you to enjoy later in the season so please don't get spoiled and just continue the show.
I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Not sure how many vids I could make on AoT characters since some of them are around the same level (Annie should have almost the exact same stats as Eren in most departments, for example), but a tier list would be kinda fun actually. Idk why I thought this but during his strength discussions I was like “and then Levi just cuts his nape with no problem” lol
believe me, the other 2 power won't matter when the founding activates
Well not really cause the attack titan is imo the second strongest titan. But that's spoilers since you don't find out why until later.
@@biggievibes7628 nah bro, third. Attack Titan
This is all I needed to read to click off the video
Before he started hardening his fists, Eren’s fully charged punches would break his arm bones (like in his fight with Annie when he missed her nape and punched the ground).
manga readers knowing that the attack titan is lowkey the best titan
If titans were like a personality like the hulk, i can imagine how much they'd hate their human counterparts judging from how much damage and sheer brutality they endure
you seem genuine & down to earth, your voice keeps me interested! just subbed.
Thanks, hope you enjoy the channel

If eren plays a game he would focus all his stats in attack stats but still do in defense
he is called the attack titan so he would be much stronger, plus with the boulder u can see the amount of steam he's releasing, thats the boulder breaking his body but it is hinted that the attack titan has the best healing of any titans so while he's holding the boulder he's breaking is body whilst instantly healing the damage
This is a high quality video. Consider me subscribed.

There is no way this man expected half a million views
Good video, I like how you addressed the weak points of the science. The scouts blades aren't made of steel though, but in the anime its not explained ^^

That's a bit dumb. You shouldn't quit a show because of that...please don't spoil yourself, there still tons of Sasha for you to enjoy later in the season so please don't get spoiled and just continue the show.

This was a really well done and entertaining video, I look forward to other power profiles from other AOT characters and maybe even a tier list later
I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Not sure how many vids I could make on AoT characters since some of them are around the same level (Annie should have almost the exact same stats as Eren in most departments, for example), but a tier list would be kinda fun actually. That's something I think I'll do eventually so thanks for the idea.

@@ZenithAniManga
The story is divided into part 1and part 2 both that follow different students going through different versions of their “games”
The manga is, in the simplest terms, a series of childhood games that are to the death. Such as red light green light, hop scotch, and a verity of other games with different twists.
Idk where you’re from but the majority of the games are based on Japanese children games (naturally). So it can get confusing at times but in my personal opinion it’s well worth the read and sadly not enough people talk about it.
