Have to feel for Walsh. Had a performance for the ages in 2022 but couldn't drag his team over the line. Just wasn't happening for him this day. He wasn't the only one either, Galway made virtually no use of their full forward line and every point was either long range or hard fought (D'Arcy honestly carried Galway, 3 points from play, one off his weaker left and one that he had no right to score only he rode a big hit. Conroy similarly scored 3-4 low percentage shots cus he's just that good sometimes).
So as much as Walsh had a bit of a stinker, it can't all be put on him. Galway didn't do enough across the board offensively

Something has to be done with Gaelic Football to make it more entertaining. That game was pure muck.

Thank you Galway. Though I do feel bad for Shane, people were awful to the lad on social media

What I don’t understand Galway should have played the ball through the middle.

Should have pressed up earlier, maybe brought comer out to half forward line, Gleeson could have taken the odd free after finnerty went off as Walsh was of form, so many missed oppertunities for Galway
