Yessss read the book first, One Of Us Is Lying is what got me into reading.
The first few books mentioned in this video were like my fav💓a thousand boy kisses💔❣️was my all time fav
A Thousand Boy Kisses makes me remember A walk to Remember by Nicholas Sparks and The fault in our stars by John Green. I love it. Heart Bones is amazing, Colleen made a wonderful work in this book. I read Twilight so many years ago... but my favorite from Stephanie is The Host

I just finished rereading One of Us is Lying for the show too. So far, the show is a little different than the book like some scenes are happening a little earlier in the show than they were in the books and other details have been added in the show. I appreciate reading the book before watching even though I know what happens but it is nice to see how the show is going to be different from the book. So far it's good. But I honestly think that is because I don't think they expected everyone to have read the book before. There are some things that bug me in the show but not majorly. I hope you get a chance to read it though. It's a fun and quick read.

I read the first book of Daughter of the Parate King recently and the ending scared me honestly I was shocked can't wait to read the second one I gave the first one a 4/5 stars also

What's the point in age rating for ya books? 🤔
some books are for younger audiences such as 10+ and it varies between ages so I put them just in case :)
@@Isabellagerli random reply: yeah that makes sense - I feel like if a teenager wants to read an adult book then that's great (and you can't stop them 😅) but age ratings help teenagers (and people in general) if they don't want a very steamy book etc.

So, one of us is lying is an okay book, but the characters are very.... flat, if that makes sense? the characters are very cliche, which i guess was kind of the point with the whole breakfast club vibe, but i think it just makes them feel like they have zero personality depth. the most depth we get in my oppinion is that we find out that one of the characters is LGBT, but other than that theyre pretty basic. The plot is really good, though i just dont think it makes up for the lack of character complexity. If you like mystery type books, id recommend it, but if ypu like stories with characters you can really relate to, i wouldnt.

@@AmandaKarinaOliveira oh i liked the beginning. what i did not like was how rushed their relationship was. like one moment they were just friends and the next was like 'call me your husband, boyfriend, friend whatever I don't care'. like a rushed relationship is my biggest pet peeve in books

i suggest don't read one of us is lying. it's very predictable and reading it just made me annoyed with the characters and overall story. i gave it a 2-3 stars out of 5. if you are going to read it, don't expect too much as it is a YA book but in my opinion you shouldn't waste your time reading this and instead find something better to spend your time on.
