Great demo. Everyone tells you that a trailer will turn opposite in reverse (eg right hand down, trailer goes left) but they don’t tell/show how and when to start following it (eg when it’s on the right angle). If you don’t know that step it leads to jackknifing or frustration.
Don’t worry about my dogs they are more than used to running around my land and not getting in the way of machinery. The youngest is 9 years old they have been avoiding tractor mowers, cars and vans and indeed horses and other farm animals for a very long time.
Try not to over rev, also by manoeuvring slowly you can do most of the work with your clutch out rather than keep slipping it, but an amount of slip will be encountered. You should be able to do it on tick over if the trailer is empty and on fairly flat surface (and the vehicle you are using has a good running engine) any uphill or harder work a little gas will be required.
