Infantile spasms (IS) is a seizure disorder in babies. The seizures (or spasms) make muscles in the arms and legs stiff and bend the baby's head forward. They look very much like a startle. Babies also might have slowed development or loss of skills (like babbling, sitting, or crawling).

Bless her heart she has the worst jumps that I've ever seen it might have been best to let her down flat so she didn't sling her head back like that could hurt scares her and she was scared to death in her face so I would have either held her a little bit closer or put her down instead of leaving her out there feeling like she's got nothing to hold on to
