Pride and power can destroy even the most kindest and innocent people turning them into ruthless tyrants.
"In the year that king Uzziah (the summer Sun) died, Isaiah (the Savior, born at the winter solstice) saw the Lord (Adoni, the winter Sun, or Pluto,) sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up (Sun at winter solstice), and his train (the summer constellations which were drawn after him) filled the temple (the opposite or summer hemisphere). This is true! Don't we see it now in our time! Not sure they are so "kind" or "innocent" but the tyrants and oppressors are everywhere and they do NOT follow God, if they did follow God and DO AS HE COMMANDS in their lives and thoughts and daily actions, they would NOT oppress and deceive the people.

Sometimes I expect the younger generation to have a better understanding of this fact about life and the bible, after all, they are the generation we hold dear to replace us, the "babyboomers" . It's so sad, so many of them are MIA but, we can still "pray" for them, Prayer has a habit of "reaching" much further than our complaints or our "disappointments"!😊
Just goes to show how pride brings a fall ! Repent and Pray 🙏 we have the Lord to help us Fight the demons in our lives !

Pride comes before a fall. I have seen it happen with many people in churches, businesses, etc. Your position if you abuse it will come down like a powerful wind. You can feel the wind but won't see it. You will make a mistake and make yourself look foolish. Humble yourself or God will do it for you. God will not share his glory with no one. Whatever that is cause ur pride you can lose it and may never get it again. Pride can cause you to mistreat people and God doesn't like that. We are all his servants. No one is above the Creator. The Bible has a lot of verses regarding PRIDE.
Pride the number one killer for all believers. Pride comes from the devil who birth it first in his heart which caused his fall from heaven. So be careful all believers when God uses us don't allow pride to take over. All this is because of Gods words and not ours. Its God and God alone!

Uzziah's story is very sad. He was a strong mighty King who was blessed by God with a long and happy reign of 52 years. However like Saul, his pride was his own undoing. I hope he repented at the end before his death. As it says in 1 Peter 2:17-21: "Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely."

God hates when the meek are stolen from by the proud. Many accounts in the Bible of the anger of God and His Prophets because the weak and the poor were oppressed and taken advantage of. There are those who are puffed up, they think they are "gods" and oppress the people, oppress and rob them. But GOD says there will be Justice, there will be GOD'S JUSTICE!

Never once did he command sacrifices of animals or burning of incense the only sacrifice he wishes for is us all is to lessen our sins in both our heart and mind. First make the sacrifices necessary to make not only the inside of the cup clean and then will you be able to make the outside the same and some times God will meet you in the process...hence "make allowance for each other's faults as I have done for you" -Christ

Actually it does (if your talking about spiritual blindness), pride blinds you from fully submitting to God. Pride says I'm god and I can choose my own way and truth when Jesus says he is the way and truth. Pride says I can make it without God when Jesus says without me you can do nothing (spiritually speaking). Pride makes you arrogant and self-centered while following God makes you humble and Christ-centered.
Sad he disobeyed gods laws of the levitical preasthood his pride and power took over him with dire consequences sad he was warned yet head strong which led to his down fall
