Is there a plan - govt sponsored or otherwise to expand such efforts and knowledge beyond Auroville. The reason I ask is because without momentum that needs volume of such actions, we would not be able to combat climate change and human caused destruction of the planet. Like Paani Foundation/water cup movement is spreading from one village to another; we need such initiatives to expand to what we are now witnessing- almost tree less concrete dwellings that many builders and cities have gotten so used to as their version of modern city planning.

We certainly need to scale up and for people to demand the preservation of existing vegetation and especially old trees and forests. For that, much more support is needed, as a few people doing things here and there is not going to cut it.

@@islandlescureI agree and waiting on govt to act is already proven wrong. Smaller public communities and groups should be formed- if such teams can scale and ask for local public to volunteer for their cities, like Paani Foundation does.

We are hoping to inspire change, to create courses to teach people how to climb with ropes to improve safely as well as proper pruning methods
