Hello! Im from Brasil.
He started power metal and with an opera singer (Remember Nightwish? And it was a Nightwis from Austria.). The beginning of this song reminds me of Come Cover Me by Nightwish.
It has changed a lot. First singer is Nicole Bogner who on the first album sounded more operatic than Nightwish, she ended up dying young.
In the early 90s, another very operatic from the band Trail of Tears (another from Norway, like the pioneer of the genre The Third and Mortal), Helena, expelled from the band, she was very crazy.
Pirate Queen Clemi of my heart and soul. Clemi is also in Exit Eden a mega girl group.

If you want to hear the original VoA Lost or Lovebearing Storm with the late Nicole Bogner are fantastic, pretty much anything with Nicole on vocals is worth listening too. We've lost too many young superstars!

Story time. July of 2019, I watched a reaction video to this song. I was smitten. If you were to go back to that reaction video, you can almost see the timeline of where I fell i love with the band...to seeing the band...to reviewing the concert. Within hours, I had a trip for Munich booked so I could see them live at the end of August 2019. They put on a very fun show. There is an undeniable chemistry between Clementine and Michele. Their vocals are simply amazing.
Then, this year, I had tickets to see them at the end of February (roughly an hour outside of Munich)...but, with Covid beginning to be a thing and also having to fly home the next day, I decided against going to their show.
And, I also had tickets to see them in Minneapolis and Chicago in the middle of March of this year. But, the world literally shut down the afternoon of the Minneapolis show. So that went tits up. (VoA still performed that weekend at a festival in Mexico - between the Minneapolis and Chicago dates.) They were one of two opening acts for Dragonforce. And while I know that Dragonforce has rescheduled their tour for next Spring, I'm not sure if Visions of Atlantis will be opening or not. I guess I'll find out soon enough.

Another great song from the same album would be "Nothing Lasts Forever", a beautiful ballad. Oh , and by the way, I'm German, but one of my grandma came from Austria, so it's still in the family :)

Whenever u 2 get the opportunity, my recommendation is 2 check out some kamelot. They are absolutely top-notch as well. They have been on tour with Nightwish a couple of times and now they are headliners. They have been around since late 90s probably? They have had two singers but both of them are really good. Just giving you some insight. Have a good day.
