gimmick tournaments are competitive tournaments with an added rule to shake things up, for example banning weapons that are too popular like this tournament, or restricting weapons/team comps in some other way

Top tier weapons with good tournament results are banned from the tournament weapon pool, taking inspiration from pokemon.
