Here is my rendition for the main theme of the game Rome : Total War. I played this game a lot when I was younger and working on the music I've heard countless time was a pleasure.

I actually shed a tear, this is immaculate.
I used to watch my Brother and a friend of him play it all day because i was too young to understand playing it by myself and you absolutely nailed the theme. I couldn't remember the sound until you brought it back to my memory and i am very thankful for that. This awakens beautiful memories from my childhood. You guys did an awesome job, never stop making music like that and stay safe.

Jeff van Dyck has created a beautiful and one of a kind soundtrack for the game and im glad that someone has finally done a cover! I would be joy to listen to other pieces covered, especially the war drum songs. Keep up the good work!

J'essai de transferer cette vidéo et ça ne fonctionne pas, j'ai essayé à trois reprises, le lien est bon parce qu'il fonctionne de mon courriel mais autrement j'en suis incapable. L'ancien président des USA B.O aime ce genre de musique et il me répond lorsque je m'adresse à lui. J'aimerais avoir son feeling.

I was born 1,500 years too late to witness the glory of Rome, and yet listening to this, I feel as though I can remember it with my own eyes...
That happens when you have old memories from childhood. Hercules, Xena, then old hollywood films like Caesar and Cleopatra, Ben Hur, then HBO Rome, Romanian and Italian movies like Colonna, and then you install Total WAR first time. After that you reading Titus Livius and Suetonius Tranquillus. Other stuff. Then watching movie Alexander, with music of Vangelis "Titans", more reading...
You glue your first linothorax and trureos, or scutum. Maybe finding a group of the same people like you. Never mind.
And congrats. You are raised on graeco-roman cultural images. Caesar and Alexander are your heroes and you are more then just american or italian or russian. You have this "something" inside you forever. My ancestors from grandfather was greeks. I literally "feel". And my heart is full of joy and love to antiquity.
