Good idea with the RF hub placement. I built a shelf and placed mine above the spare tire.
Once you figure out the rear door wiring, everything will work like normal. The front doors with the modules and sensors are more of a PIA.
The easiest placement for the camera is on the rear bumper above the license plate. Use the charger OEM outer bracket. It’s not perfect, the camera aims a little bit high. The perfect spot in the third brake light location. But that requires more modification and wiring.
Dodge magnum swap is the most complicated swap of all Dodge LXs. Welcome to the club.

khal i have a 05 chrysler 300c and want to do a dash swap from a newer 300? would it be just a quick swap and bolt on or do i have to modify anything?
The upper sections of the rear seats are super easy to swap. I know zero about upholstery and had the covers swapped to the frames in about 2 hours. Also you can just take the staples out of the charger side bolsters, remove the fabric and put it over the magnum bolsters, then restaple it. Appreciate you going in depth with all you ran into on the swap. As always looks great.
I swapped the rear covers on my magnum. The magnum is a little bit different than other LXs, the frame is metal and not a 100% match. The center cup holder is not the same.
Since no one really ever sits in the back of my car I’m going to remove the anchors and permanently attached them to the frame with the 2015 plastic inserts.
I’m also installing an air ride setup so I won’t be folding my rear seats anymore.
I removed the staples on the side bolsters like you did and fits perfect.

Good information. I had to modify the brake booster mounting for My 2006 Magnum.
Dodge must have change the bolt pattern in 2008. So anyone interested in a magnum swap, source a 2008.

With the rear seats you have to just get the back locking mechanism out the charger and swap it in the magnum
You can just wire a resistor into the roof airbag plug.
It’ll make the computer think there’s an airbag plugged into it.

Rear camera can go by the third brake light, put in place of rear wiper nozzle and relocate nozzle to other side of brake light or make a new hole.

The magnums look clean with the rear wiper arm delete…. If you did that you could place the camera in that hole

The locking bracket for the rear seat back is all you need to make them work. Swap them with the stock magnum bracket.
He should put the 300 srt front end on it like what they sold overseas
The side airbag curtains will also bolt right in. The magnum headliner covers it no problem. The dome light thing may need to be swapped as well as sun visors. Swapped on mine, but I don’t remember if it was necessary.
How did you wire the taillights? The constant power to the charger center light can be tricky.
The rear seat fabric is held by rings… all you have to do is use the back support from swap the foam and you are golden… oh they latch different so I just cut a slit

Yea, 08 is the only one the booster works on. Others beware, it's not bolt on for 07 and back

Use the charger door panels so that the vents work. Then you can use the charger door lock controls and speakers and just repin the window actuator.

Since the first gen charger and 300 are essentially the same car as the magnum, then you could probably apply all of this info to and LX gen Chrysler
i think some of the issues is it's an sxt model and not an rt model - my rt had curtain airbags

I have a 2005 awd 5.7 . If i want to swap the engine to a srt or hellcat motor, do i need to to change the whole interior harness? Cause i dont mind keeping my original dashboard and rest of the interior. I just need a new engine and thought i might as well throw in the srt . But not if i have to change the whole interior. It would be dope but thats to much work.

Bro I told u exactly how to do the swap I don’t have to fab shit only thing is drill holes for the brake booster takes no fab work but head light wire clips and tail light and trunk camera and doors u just use charger parts for the door modules shits not hard at all been done to many times and passenger side seat u have to use the magnum seat rail like I told ya day one

Random question I have a 2010 dodge journey I know (soccer ⚽ mom car) but I think I'm having problems with my ecm I just installed new coil packs and plags and I still have misfire code if I was to get a used or new ecm will it work as soon as I connect it or will I have to get it programmed from dodge dealer??

What's up Khal? I lucked up on Ur channel by looking for videos on Hellcat conversions for 300s. I have a 2010 300C 5.7 that I inherited from my Mama. I was going to try to convert it but It's too clean, with low miles. I have found a Dodge Magnum for REALLY cheap, I'm gonna buy the car even if I don't build it. My question is do you think that someone that has never done a Hellcat swap can get this done? I have been working on cars my hole life, but never none of the new stuff this far in. I would like a good project and I love MOPAR. Three duallys and the 300. Please give me your honest opinion.

I would just like someone anyone to say what modules you have to have in order to fire up the engine...I am doing a swap but not using any suspension parts ie struts..but probably update to and speed sensors so speedo will work it's a 2018 swap into a 2000 Dakota pu I got dash, engine bay, and floor harnesses charger dash and heater/ac box just need to know bare minimum of modules to get engine to start...any help would be great thanks.
