You are never forgotten. I don’t know how many of the remaining Monkees are still with us, I believe there are just two of them now?
We have now lost Mike Nesmith along with Peter Tork and Davey Jones. Only Mickey Dolenz is the sole survivor of the group and will carry on the tradition. May the rest of them RIP.

I always used to wonder where and how they filmed the bed scene in the introduction...seemed to be a bit like Monty Python, like somewhere in downtown London or wherever, and the British people are so polite that they just ignore the whole thing.

Well yeah, the whole concept of the Monkees was to be a blatant parody of The Beatles. But the people started taking them seriously...
Yet here I am, a 39yo fan of The Monkees because of their tv show reruns when I was a kid, and I still can't stand listening to the Beatles.
