Wow that has got to be the most amount of possible combinations between the two different lights of any headlamps out right now, that is pretty awesome. I have a few nitecore products and they are all fantastic and have never let me down
That is awesome! Just found this company about 2 months ago and ordered the edc27 man their button patterns are so cool! I love the memory and the soft and hard clicks! Definitely gonna have to get this one
Beware the ones shipping now, They took away most of the button functions. The instant turbo function, the low light function, and a couple other button functions no longer work.
Just purchased & received the HC68. And it blinds oncoming oblivious-texting drivers. the low setting(50 lumens) lasted from 9pm-5am. with battery-juice to spare, for another couple nights camping, without replacing the battery. Turbo-mode at night attracted a state police DEC chopper. They hit me with a mega floodlight, then disappeared. Would really like to see Nitecore have a dedicated helmet mount for bike riding and a Bluetooth remote
The charging access method is different but also pretty genius I’m sure it’s like that to keep its title of being waterproof and dust proof. Not sure you could engineer a better way to do that
I like my HC65 a lot, but I have to unscrew the battery cap so the battery doesn't discharge slowly when off and stored in my pack. That true for this model as well?
You should check out the Sofirn HS20 (18650 battery, 2700im) and the Wurkkos HD 20 (21700 battery, 2000lm) headlamps. Pretty much the same options, but around $30 each. Both high end flashlight companies that just aren't as well known as Nitecore.
Итак, пришел мне этот фонарь. Всё так, как ожидалось, кроме света. Он отвратителен. SST40 в дальнем светит болотным зеленым, гораздо зеленее, чем древний hc50 на xm-l2, в разы хуже! Стабилизация понижающая стандартная. Примерные токи белого 6мА, 100, 500, 2200, 6000. Красного 27, 100. ЮСБи НЕ герметичный, без крышки к воде даже приближаться нельзя. Включается с задержкой 500мсек. Ближний состоит их двух пятен - 180 и 100 примерно. Дальний из 180 (точно такого же) и 15. Плавно меняется 100 на 15. 180 остается всегда (нет теневой границы, слепит всегда). АКБ немного цепляется и трет внутри силиконовый провод светодиода. Резьбы очень мелкие, плохие. Старт резьбы нужно давить на пружину (тупо). В крышке две мощные пружины, есть изолятор из текстолита (вечная блокировка). Пластика не заметил в корпусе. Оптика внутри чистая на 4 (не идеально, есть пыль). Светодиод стоит Не по центру (на 4, бывает хуже). Резинки точно такие же, как у фонарей бренда 8-летней давности - дешевки! Кнопки не тугие, с четким кликом, немного жесткие, жестче чем у скилхантов или зебры, но мягче айсбима. Управление действительно крутое. Единственный недочет - нет доступа к мунлайту из выкл, только красный. Режим красного не запоминает. Белый запоминает только 1, 50 и 250лм. Если выше - включается на 250. Силикон в холдере крайне жесткий, дешевый, полупластиковый, не тянется, на ощупь противный, не жирный. Из-за этого фонарь нереально повернуть одной рукой в креплении. Фонарь на 3+, если бы не крутое трехкнопочное управление без удержаний, даже не посмотрел бы на него.

This is one of the more ingenuities driven headlamps that I've seen. Nitecore has really impressed me with this one. It's on the wish list!

What do you recomend for caving between HC68 and HC65v2? I need a good flashlight for the go pro! I need more a flood light then a spot light!

Look on runtime graph. There are big power drops. Too expensive for such a small, permanent thing.
Fenix Hm65 Super Raptor- This is a revised version and there are no such power drops.
Hm65 on flood maintains constant power, around 150lm 😳 look on Zeroair review.

Headband adjusts by sliding the plastic piece. Yes I removed the top.

Yes, you can! The 2 holders are made from rubber so u can use it simple
