I think its good that they dont kiss before the whole Torfun problem is resolved. So Tian can be finally fully happy without his guilt nagging on him.
I'm glad the kiss scene didn't happen because in the novel, they had to build up to the moment they first kiss and it was magical so I want them to keep the same energy in the series as well to build it up to that moment, perhaps we might get it in ep9, if not, then it would most likely be in ep10.

I still believe Tian was not driving his car when the accident happened and he just feel responsible. However the way his delivering the news to everyone doesn't sit right with me. I really hope you're right that its just a misdirect because the whole freaking village and Phupha will hate him for causing the death of their beloved Torfun.
He got heart attack at that moment, hence, the accident

Phupa saw Torfun as his sister. He really prefers man and it's Tian
People are complaining about them don't kiss on this episode, but do you realize that the scene really have a pretty deep meaning? When Phupha admitted that he feels lonely since he spent all of his life protecting the forest and he never really have a significant other and he said the more he close to Tian, the more he think that it's something impossible since a lot of differences that they have. I can feel Phupha's frustration for wanting to have Tian as his lover but a lot of things that make him holding himself to tell Tian that he got all of this feelings for him... I think that's so sad...
Yeah it was a sad scene for me as well..they talked heart to heart and you can see that Tian was also in his soft mood for a deep talk with Phupha, and he seemed like he was ready to confirm his feeling to Phupha. He saw Phupha's sincere confession eventhough phupha was drunk. He was feeling bubbly and all, but then Torfun was mentioned, and he seems sad afterwards... making him felt like he's just a replacement or just a mere shadow of torfun. Well it hurts being someone else's shadow and sometimes we would not like to be compared to others.
It's a deep scene, and a beautiful scene as well
There's definitely alot of speculation on if the series would follow the novel about the whole thing on who hit Torfun, right now people would think it is Tian, however there is some confusing hints on the possibility that it isn't Tian who hit her in the series, the first one being that he didn't have any reconciliation or memories about being involve in a car accident, and it's not like he lost his memories or have shown to display that he doesn't remember anything the night before he was taken to the hospital, so let's say if it was indeed Tian who hit her, then he would've remembered or had reactions on the fact he hit someone, but he didn't do none of that, and was living his life fine as if he didn't hit anyone, and I don't think Tian is much of a bad person to at least not have any guilt on the fact he killed someone but that's because it wasn't him who hit her, that's why he was fine (I'm talking about before he discovered about Torfun) And the second one being that Tian doesn't know any reason why his parents had to sold his car, and his friends reaction when he told them about it already gives us the idea and hint it wasn't Tian who hit her, cause if it was him, then he wouldn't have questioned why his car have been sold, and that gave an indication that he didn't even drove his car, the night when he was taken to the hospital, and also when Tian was in crucial state where he needed a heart transplant immediately in the surgery, they didn't get Torfun's heart til later on (even the doctor who was in charge of Tian, said that they didn't have any donors who matched his heart as of yet), after when Tian is in a middle of a his surgery, so that indicates that Tian was the first one to pass out then Torfun died after he collapse, so Torfun didn't exactly died on the same time as Tian was in the hospital but they just happen to be on the same day and same hour during the night.

This opinion is a great analysis and I totally agree with what you've written. The only reason if Tian can kill Torfun is the scriptwriters suck, but so far they are really good.
I also believe that Tul, might know something about this and when he came to meet Tian and told him to tell Phupha about Torfun he meant for Tian to tell Phupha about his heart transplant. also his other friends, the guy and his girlfriend?? seems sus especially the girl. also from the flashback we saw at the beginning of this episode when Tian called Tul saying he's got something to ask about the car race the night he was taken to the hospital, i think he might get the answer on who drove his car that night from Tul and when he told the villagers about this saying that he's responsible for her death maybe it was because his car indeed hit her even though it's still not clear as who was the one driving the car that night. and also about dr. nam, i dont think he would tell Phupha about this through their walkie talkie thing?? and i also think that it was something related with mr. sakda's case (or i might be wrong), because i think dr. nam would like sit back first and watch what will Tian do next (like will he tell the villagers or Phupha about this) because it was not his place to tell them about this. but yo, we gotta be prepared for what's to come. the next episode's gon be a hell of a ride for sure

The way tian fits perfectly into Phuphas arms 😩👌🏾 they could share the bed if Tian would stop acting and let Phupha cuddle him 🙄
My prediction is that Tian fainted before the race even happened and Tul stayed with him to take care of him and called the ambulance or even drove him to a hospital himself, and the other two friends, the suspicious couple, took Tian's car to finish the race and hit Torfun 🤔
And I get why Tian feels responsible for her death, and in some way he probably is since the race was his stupid idea, but I also think Torfun was very irresponsible as well, it's not like she was hit on a crosswalk, she literally ran into the road and crouched while it was dark outside 😭 I think even a normal driver would have hit her, though maybe it wouldn't be fatal... Anyways, the next 2 or 3 episodes are going to be heartbreaking, I'm not ready 😭
I think your prediction is correct. Also this is a different topic but everyone keeps saying Tian ran into the burning school to get the kite the Chief made for him. Am I the only one that thinks that the villagers and the tea sachets were more on his mind and that once he was in there he decided to try at least and get the kite
@@debbie1287 Yes, I completely agree! I think he ran inside mainly because of the tea sachets but also because there were a lot of things from the kids that he treasures and didn't want to lose, but when he got inside, he probably saw the kite and decided to at least take that since it's connected with nice memories with the kids but also Phupha, so it's overall very special. But I didn't really see it as him running there just for the kite...
I am confident that Tian wasn't driving a car that night but the Director misleads us and also a preview for the next e.p. mislead us to think that Tian confesses he kill Torfun. I don't believe that my Tian can kill anyone and strongly believe the director wouldn't be too cruel for my sweet Tian like that.

This was the funniest episode to me. I still don’t think he hit her unless maybe he passed out at the wheel. And I wasn’t feeling the dr investígating only because he had the opportunity to ask Tian himself
also if he passed out while driving, shouldn't he be covered in blood or at least he got cut or something?? but he was clean like he was when he crouched down because he was in pain at the bottom of the stairs before they went out to the car

I kinda get now why Tian had that nightmare when he's drunk. After telling chief Phu that he has indeed Torfun's heart Chief got more agitated at forcing Tian to tell him what he's still hiding and.... Its actually this, he's actually the one who- yeah 😭
Can we go back to the innocent and pure days of finger touching and banana sharing (wow both those sound dirtier than they are meant to!) because I am NOT HERE for all the drama and stress these episodes have now! Even though we had so many amazing moments the sh!t hitting the fan is overshadowing it and I can't deal with this! omg! We've officially taken the turn in this series, there is no going back now!
Btw where on earth did Phupas confidence come from in this ep? He must have taken some flirting and confidence 101 lessons between episodes, that is for sure!
On one has tian brave to confess something like that to the people that they care about her. Once again everyone hate him.This time he is alone not even cheif there for him. This time everyone not want him stay in the village. Well that is the saddest part. Even the man he is love with. I hope everyone forgive tian. This what i think about .

Next week's episode is going to be a bit painful since Tian is going to finally tell the truth without the actual truth (about whether he was the one who hit her or not), he is going to keep that truth to himself and just take all the blame and responsibilities to him, and that will paint Tian in the villagers eyes as a murderer, and he doesn't mind that even though it wasn't his fault, he just feels guilty and responsible, so I'm really curious to see where we will go from there because we still have issues going on about Mr. Sakda and his goons interfering with the villagers and possibly attacking them as well, so yeah the next few episodes will be in pure angst and pain, and I don't think we are ready for that😃

Maybe Tian had an accident after the guy he raced with hit Torfun. The guy just then ran away and when the police came they saw Tian's car and Torfun's body and assumed it was him ? It's a bit of a reach but I'd feel so bad for Tian if he really had killed Torfun. Because there is no excuse to taking the wheel while being intoxicated... but also, I love Tian so much. He deserves some good in his life. That episode was a lot. As always, loved your reaction.

Massaging the chief while wearing the chief's shirt (but now its brown color), cooks food for the chief and his friends, moved in with the chief but still can't admit hes the chief's wife. Hahaha.
I will try to make speculations based on what I saw in the trailer a year ago. I think the next events will be Tian telling the whole truth, Phupha and Tian will fight, Chief Phu will be hit by a bullet, Tian will suffer from it and at some point in this they will finally kiss. It was confirmed in interviews that it will happen
When the chief tells that he is lonely, it shows how much he misses not having a family. He wants Tian to be his family because he atlast found someone who he genuinely cares for.
Next, when he talks about how he thinks of the impossible between them, he is hinting at the 2 different worlds them come from.
Tian is young, rich and comes from a powerful family while the chief doesn't have any of those.
What if the chief is hesitant because he thinks he is not good enough for Tian 😭😭

So you’re telling me, Phupha took a shower, then Tian accidentally walked in on a naked Phupha, they had their funny stare off before Tian grabbed his tooth brush and running tot he shower... THEN!! Then, Phupha wrapped a towel around his waist and walked into the shower to wash Tian’s face?? 👀 no wonder Tian was so flustered in the shower seen!! HE HAD JUST SEEN PHUPHA’S GREEN GIANT BAHAHAHA

I think tian was going to race,but his heart gave out and someone else took his place. That couple looked funny when tian said why would my parents sell my car. They knew what really happen. I think his parents decided that he should not know what really happen. They knew he would blame himself. I would feel responsible if my car hit someone, even if I was not driving. Chief should have told the village torfun was dead. He just stood there and said nothing every time someone mentioned her. It was starting to get on my nerves. People are saying the book has a happy ending. They better give us one! I love this series so much!
they might have to give us a s2 if this series didnt have a happy ending...but i believe that when chief Phu said 'for some books, you should read them before judging'. it also foreshadowing of what would happen next (or i might be wrong). because when we saw the trailer of this series, there would be a moment where chief Phu brings Tian to the cliff at night and there chief Phu didn't blame Tian for having Torfun's heart. but nevertheless, we gotta be prepared for the next episode as i believe it going to be a hell of a ride for sure.
I swear I bawled my eyes out just by seeing that preview, I mean after all the stress buildup they suddenly hit us with that acting by Mix and confession!? Next one's gonna be like a coming out episode and I'm not ready for it. 😢 Anyways, here's my two cents on what more might be revealed cause y'all got me thinking because of your speculations as well, what if..
* Phupha really does know more than he seems, did some investigation, and has a connection with Tian's dad being you know, the ex-secretary for the Natural Resources Ministry.
* Phupha might already know Tian was 'partially' (I also believe he didn't kill her himself) responsible for Torfun's death, the car & maybe him initiating the race, but not yet about the heart transplant that's why he's still confused.
* Tian's dad might have ordered Phupha to look after Tian, that's why his parents don't look for him and his mom called to ask Tul but only once.
* There might have been bad blood between Tian's dad and Mr. Sakda that's why he's targeting the son.
* Mr. Sakda might have a spy in the village? Cause that man involved in the Ghost hill haunting was giving Tian a strange look, and they might be hiding there too because no one conveniently goes there.
Sorry for this being lengthy, I just love this series so much, hoping for a good ending and another season or series for Earth & Mix. Great rv and commentary!

If Tian was prone to faint at any moment he probably hasn't driven since his diagnosis. Haven't watched next episode yet, tissues are at the ready.

That's right! I completely forgot about that scene. Tian was coming back to the party and chief was leaving. I think you are right. Chief would want to know what happen to torfun. I bet he traced the heart to tian. What if chief brushed tian's hand on purpose to see if he would get a reaction, and he did! Why would he watch over him like that. What if he was ordered to because of who tian's father is. This is getting good!

that look at 5:01 had me dying!!!!! like yea right fever is what you were checking for. Tian is playing hard to get and with just 10 episodes I think the ending is going to be just a kiss and I will be disappointed. I doubt it will even be like a My Day kinda kiss either. sigh!
I think based on how this series has focused so much on their romance, a kiss will be perfect and I’ll be satisfied. However, if they want to give me 2 kisses, I’ll love it even more. 😂

I heard somewhere that in the novel, it was Tul who hit Torfun but I don't know if the series will follow the novel. I don't know if I'm ready for episode 8 tho😭 I think we need to prepare a lot of tissue🤧
No, that fact is incorrect, it wasn't Tul who hit torfun, but it was someone who was also with Tian and Tul during the whole race bet, who took Tian's place at that night.

1. Thumbs down person buzz off.
2. I am confident Tien was with Tul when the accident happened. Maybe Tul will return (Chief did say he could come to the village) and set the record straight.
3. I am PRAYING that this series will be just BASED on the original story and they get a happy ending. These two have enough chemistry to carry a second season. But I do not like the subtle references that Chief will make the ultimate sacrifice for Tien.
4. Did anyone else think Chief looked a little younger in this episode? Like the portrayal of the character changed. Earth has done a great job playing someone slightly older. Just curious.

This is merely a suggestion, but it’s my personal opinion that any comments that contain spoilers should be deleted. It’s a shame that people feel it’s ok to do that.
