I remember teaching my dog how to go up the stairs with my best friend. We took paws one at a time up each step. Did this several times until she could do it herself.
I miss those days. I believe my dog was only 10 months old. I was 8, and my friend was 7. This was in 2003.

When we first got my dog about 5 years ago they told us not to let him upstairs because he couldn't go down. One day, he decided to take an adventure up the stairs... and we had to go up and get him. But now he is a big boy and can go down by himself, even though he is not allowed upstairs.
