I'm loving the direction they're going in. I think it's kind of ballsy to do with a new girl group in the sense that hip-hop is always an element but they're not really mixing in a lot of Pop that would resonate with the GP Korean fans so I hope they keep it up and that it pays off for them.

There's a link between Token and YP. YP hired the same director to do their Macaroni Cheese music video, who also has done a bunch of Tokens music videos - Ben Proulx. He even made a youtube video about his experience going to Korea to make the Macaroni Cheese video, which is a great watch

The reason why Ben got to work with YP in the first place was because Sunhye watched Tokens video that Ben directed and wanted that for their MV. She was soo happy when he could feature on their remix.

They have strong potential to be one of the best kpop girl group rap lines. If they are like this from debut, I can see how much improvement they can bring. Having pretty popular Korean rappers In the track And I do feel like they’re taking a global approach. They also got invited to Head in the Clouds.
