Its unfathomable how clean these guys are and months after 2019 season ended. Thats why they are 4 times DCI BEST Percussion. INSANE!!! These guys/gals are so tight, its hard to put a piece of paper between them. :) Bravo.
Look at 4:55 the snare line (just visible on the right of the screen) sign language "SCV"!! I just spotted it after watching this video many, many times. It is so cool!
I learned this chunk of the show and had no idea what that was until now lmao
That the quality of play and musicianship can continue 3 months outside of season, with only hours to warm up and rehearse show chunks is insane. Just getting the entire line to logistically return is an accomplishment. Another wow moment.
I performed in this same room right before them. I got to stay for their clinic and it was amazing to see them in person. Video doesn’t do any of this justice. So clean!!
SCV tenor visuals are what I live for
Literally clapping at my computer at work right now!!! Such a wondrous collection of talent! SCV always!
I cant even play it would be so fun to smack a B5 on a stand in a theater
Kevin Fitzsimmons I played bass 5 for a school that did a PASIC clinic this year. The room wasn't this big but it was still awesome, so much reverb
Soo much energy in the battery section 🥁🔥
love the aggression within the writing so much
Excellent job to these performers. The arrangements are terrific, and the execution is the best!
Best tenor line I’ve seen yet
7:03 w headphones
It's beautiful. I want to play the marimba part for my college audition.
I was over there and it was crazy
So good. State of the art!
Great musicality. I truly admire PR talent.
True demonstration of excellence in the percussive arts.
Watching this makes me want to write beats for 3 hrs. It's just exciting to listen to!
Wow. Omg SCV Drumline went and done it again. I love this show and the classic throw down. I love Paul writing really tasty and in you face. Not just a lot of raming onto much. Sounds like to me 95 North Texas with queen and other famous cats on that talent line. This is the best show to me and SCV style. #1Scvdrumline#Paulrennick#unt
Almost a year later and this is still the last time a DCI line performed their show, these are crazy times
THeSE aRe CrAzY TiMeS! Hope you've calmed the fuck down in the past two years. Some people got sick. That's about it.
this is magical
so awesome.
Now, those were some REAL beats!
Soo good🔥
Has me giggling!
The 11 people who disliked this video....seriously?...are you on glue?
The sound and quality with these dynasty drums. The whole tones across the line and not just only in this particular ssettings. Always on point. Some lines really a lot of over tuning. Won't say no name, but you know who you are.
These guys need to start a full time percussion ensemble that do full time tours by themselves professionally instead of just a seasonal thing.
scv has the best quad line in all of dci imo
Not wrong is number one on dci
B5 gettin' it
Everything is right with the world when SCV is tops in drums. The only thing that hurts personally is Rennick not with Phantom....it shows....
Nice!
Bass at 5:27 is absolutely vibing
@@jacobwilson5596 Man... I was like "I want to adopt this kid" You CAN'T TEACH that level of connection to the groove / beat / vibe.
dang
I just noticed that height of tenor line is just like the PASIC logo 😂
the end quad is further away from the camera, and the camera focal length is cropped so it looks like the heights are like that.
Are these the regular 2019 members? Some of these performers I don't recall seeing during the season ?
T San they are, you may be confused because they may look different out of uniform. The tenor to the right of center, for example, has a different hairstyle than he did during the season.
Can anybody get me the drumline score
How old is Bryce bc he looks like he's 12
@@Queeze101 So that cat could potentially win 5 Sanford Trophies?!! Damn! 3 as section leader of the SCV drumline. He will go down as an SCV legend like Murray Gusseck, Rob Carson, etc
timpanist?
He is right in front of center snare. You can see him pretty well during the ballad section.
... I really hate to say it but Jay is unrecognizable with shorter hair.
Tenor line be fire tho 😂
Look Mom, I have rubber arms!
triple laterals
Can I get a shout out to Christina applegate
I like the female snare; who is she? I also like the humor behind putting her next to the tallest of her section mates. What various universities do these players attend?
Her name is Eliana Yamouni been on the line since Oroborous, i think. Very talented young lady.
Correction. Babylon was Eliana’s first year. Search her name on yt, There should be a solo audition video of her.
bryce hair lul
Back in the day, we played a lot of cheeses, chatta chas, flam drags, flam fives, and grace note flams , off speed rolls , purposefully with no set up, check pattern and a lot of non down beat , implied patterns with flam rolls, and such.

Me: a tenor player: czcams.com/video/vGwgfRiQ2_M/video.html
Where is the cymbal line? They are probably doing all kinds of crazy stuff that’s awesome to se!! No respect.
I don't think anyone will ever understand the depth to which I don't care about this ballade
People act like blue devils are only good line
Theron Wright interesting that your statement holds to this day...20 years ago they were saying the same!
Overated for last few years I can attest SCV will challenge them every season for high drums and look who won 4 times in a row
I’m pretty sure people don’t act like that. If anything it’s like that with SCV. Especially because they have been pretty consistent these past few years
Thundering Herd Drumline people generally don’t. Most of the comments they get is about how recycled they are, how their book is boring, how they miss the old lines and writing. No one in their right mind has said that the Blue Devils have the only good line in DCI in recent years.
Hi guys, i marched in the 90's, and i am new to this kind of drumming. Can anyone tell me where or when a flam is played. Thanks in advance for your help.
pale bois
Yea, but can they play Tom Sawyer? RIP Neil.
Why would they play that lol, I’m sure the battery members could on a kit. Rip Neal
Whose piece is this? Make sure to mention the composer in the description.
I wouldn't say this is one piece, more like a whole show. Also this is the dynasty percussion CZcams channel, not a random 10 sub channel ripping content. Also also check the description 🙃
Tenors are the real daltons 😂🙈
SCV is better than s-e-x.
It's better without the hornline.
Nice doesn't describe this level of musicianship. What a legacy.
Nice
Well said!
