Several shots of kangaroos / wallabies hopping about at Koala Park; some have babies in their pouches; M/S of a koala bear asleep in a tree. A man carries a koala to a branch and puts the bear on it; he hands it some eucalyptus leaves to eat. Various shots show Champion boomerang thrower Joe Timberley tossing boomerangs into the air. He takes some special ones from a furry pouch he carries and throws them both at once.
L/S of a Pan Am aeroplane coming in to land at Sydney (King Ford-Smith) Airport; M/Ss of passengers coming down steps from the plane. L/S of the city of Sydney, seen from across the river; L/Ss of ferries in the harbour and skyscrapers beyond. General shots of the city; people sit at tables of an outside cafe; two girls sit on a wall and smoke cigarettes. Several shots of ornate wrought iron balconies on houses; commentator says they are made from the ballast that was brought on the old wool clipper ships and then junked.
L/S of the half-finished Sydney Opera House across the harbour; M/Ss show scaffolding and workers on the building. Commentator mentions the opera house "has bust its budgeted cost so badly that only a lottery can now finance it".

So much better when our country had a population of only 12 million. And culturally harmonious by comparison with today's chaotic and divisive dysfunctionality. Where's my time machine please?
Take me back to 1967...a less complicated less self focused way of life. Have we really advanced as a country in 2023?? My humble opinion...no. 😌
