A true DESERT OASIS in BAJA | San Ignacio, Baja California Sur | RV Baja Episode 11: Real Baja

Known for having more date palms than people, San Ignacio is one of the remaining "true Baja small towns." We spent a few days in the sleepy town, exploring the Mission San Ignacio Kadakaamán and relaxing in the town center. There are few RV campgrounds in San Ignacio, and we stayed at El Padrino, which we loved and highly suggest.

Beautiful mission . The way you both take a moment to play with dogs and cats along the way is priceless. Rancho Grande restaurant looked like a perfect place to grab a meal and look out for more furry friends.

San Ignacio is best experienced on a warm to hot day. Grab a delicious ice cream, sit in the town square across from the mission, and watch the elders play chess all while time slowly unfolds.
