I was thinking the same but put it on some rubber/carpet - some sort of sound damping material.
I would mount it somewhere along the headache rack in front of the bed
I was just gonna say that!
That is what I was thinking
Yeah on the driver's side of it i think it would be out of the way if you put it under the truck it could get damaged.
You beat me to it under the truck would be a big risk of it getting smashed
Hang the leaf chute on the headache rack, thick end down. A simple 2X2 piece of angle iron as a small bracket and bungee or ratchet strap to secure the top to rack, Up out of the way, say behind passenger side of rack. Pretty much, where you have it set in the video, but UP Higher.
Build a storage deck over your cab expanded metal and square tubing maybe.
i would mount it on the front of the rack, behind the cab. just make a mount that matches the side of deck and put a slip pin in it done and done no crazy mounting needed
A rack above the cab, which you then can mount and dismount when you go on the trailer. I'm not sure if you go under any bridges.
Hang the box on its end on the front of the bed. Off to on side so it doesn’t obscure the rear window. In the position you have in the video, but higher.
Instead of under the bed, how about in front of the bulkhead over the cab. Easy to get to and still leaves room for a tool box under the bed.
Hi Spencer! Does your mower deck grass chute work with a grass catcher? Or it’s one or the other?
Thank you!
Controlled chaos but doable with shoot blockers... Be safe and prayers 🙏🙏🙏
Shawn, how goes the property?
Save that space for under body tools boxes. Especially with space in the cab being limited and the need to empty the cab before tilting it to prevent stuff falling into the windshield.
I tell people that my desk looks like a mess but it is an organized mess. LOL. I took advantage of the cooler weather to knock out all the trimming that needed done around the property. If I do it all at one time, it takes 2+ hours, but I'm not nearly as fast as TQ.
I would use the space on the headache rack.
Shawn why not have a space to hang your grass catcher up on the headache rack?
You could put 2 large shipping containers on your property have them connected together and cut the inside wall between them and have storage for things that are seasonal 😊
Another one! Love that set up!
How heavy is catcher! Maybe mount on rack in front of mowers behind truck cab?????
measurements over train tracks? might scrape it off
I would mount it just above the forward mower deck so you drive under it. The racks in the garage will be a huge help.
Get a steel building it goes up fast and to can have a building to use now
My accelerator aluminum bagger came with a trailer mount!!
Lockers would be a great addition to that truck.
Here in NJ its cool around here its 70'degrees during the day and 50 to 60 at night
Mount it along the headache rack
Quick question Shaun ,how often do you need to change your strimmer line head ? I feel as though I go through one each year and that’s just domestic use
Shawn that grass catcher if it hangs lower than the muffler that can be a problem because if you get hung up on a rock or a tall curb you can get stuck taking a tight turn
We are still at 100 degrees in California every time I go outside it feels like a oven
Have you try running Rec fuel on your Toro mowers?
Have Noah weld a shed on the front of the headache rack.
Yippie West Virginia supposed to get down to 43 tonite
Shawn I wanted to let you know even with great holding power of any clamp for the bag if you have that come off you could cause an accident or have it drop and your vehicle running over it. Weld a shelf on the far Right side of the headache rack in the back and have it go vertical position at the top of the rack and have it locked with padlocks and chains so one it does not get stolen and also it will not bounce and if it does fall it should stay in the bed of the truck.
When u building the shop
Nice I make a shelve and put a bracket on front so it don't fall out
Hey Shawn I put under the truck Just make sure it doesn't Fall off And get ran over.
Awesome video have a great rest of your week stay safe out there
Top of the roof of your truck cab. You can fit two there on a rack. And keep the bottom of the truck bed for tool box.
Be going later for more firewood.
Keep it going Bruh.
When you held the chute under the truck it looked to be very low on the bigger end. Up behind the head board would be a good spot
108 F here in Texas today...
What about the truck transmission haven’t heard anything about it I know it didn’t get better on its own ! Chuck from Sacramento calif
Washington state needs rain
Wed August 21 will be 111° F tomorrow! 🔥 Here in Texas.
I used a attachment for a live floor semi trailer that was attach to trailer with hooks and it road fine cross country
It was a shoot that turned the trailer into a hoper on the rear of trailer
Hi Shawn and tQ my name is Jorma. I’m from Montreal and it is raining out here
Mount it on the headboard
Shawn I saw a homemade box on a landscape truck a few days ago down here that the box had been built cross ways and sat on top of the side rails and looked very roomy. The mowers sat up underneath the box. Thought of you guys when I saw it. Glad to hear the SpencerProducts line is doing so well. Wish I lived closer I would love to be able to help you guys out. Anyway y’all be safe careful stay cool and hydrated and keep up the great work. Bruce in Wv!!!
Mount that to the front of the back window cage under truck it may get damaged from road debris
We used to call the beef and gravy over mashed potatoes Gravy Train
Why not mount the grass catcher on the inside of the front rack low enough that it would not block vision . Just a thought .
Hi I wanted to let you know that we got much needed rain in new hampshire and brought a cool front today it was 60 degrees it felt like fall here. I was thinking of leaf removal. Have a Great Day you guys.
Exactly, I would put it on the front behind the cab. it should fit..
Shawn, was the purpose of the invention of the chute?
The weather up here in Southeastern Michigan is going to be from the upper 60s to the upper 70s until Saturday and Sunday then it's back to the 80s.
If you do mount
the grass catcher
under the bed in
front of the rear
drive tires make
sure you at the
least close the
side in front of
tires. Like a
angle iron box
with closed bottom and sides
with expanded
metal door. Maybe
Noah could build
it for you. Also
some rubber mate
in the bottom
because that
catcher looked
like it was made
of Aluminum.
just a suggestion.
👍👍👍
It got down to 53 last night here in Detroit, perfect sleeping weather
How many miles do you guys drive in a day on your shortest Route vs your longest?
About 5 minutes.
Hi Shawn and Savanah, Shawn wouldn't yiu be afraid of it hitting something on the road with it being shelved that low to the ground.
Have had alot of rain in Wisconsin, cooler weather today was in mid 60's.
We had mashed potatoes on bread with beef and gravy growing up, we called it Beef Manhattan,
Put a door where the back window is in the garage... And two 43' containers out back that have side access doors. Plenty of room. And then move them to the new property when the time is right.
Contact a weld shop they should be able to assist you with a mounting kit.
Greensboro has alot of rain
Hello team Spencer from Richmond Virginia we have had some good rains here
I live in Ontario Canada rains in my area at least once a week since June crazy
The catcher has that big sturdy handle. Maybe just some hooks welded to that area under the bed so you could just hang it
Hey Team Spencer, hope you have a great evening.
Has anyone found a grip for a trimmer that completely removes the vibration? My wrists cannot handle that for more than five minutes due to prior injury. Help? No rude comments please.
In the late 50’S when as agricultural workers in OHIO and other states there were no MEXICAN restaurants. In southern TEXAS flour are called TACOS, corn are Taquitos, West TEXAS flour are Burritos, corn are tacos .
Hello 👋
I was a manager in Foodservice in a school and I love nachos but man I did not like making them for 300+ kiddos. Stacked the plates up with the nacho chips all over the kitchen, and if you weren't careful in the kitchen it could end up in a big ole chips mess. Lol
What do you think of the Ballard trimmer rack for lawnmowers?
I would build a shelf on the headache rack right inside the bed and mount it there.
Buy you a c-can for storage and drop it at the property. Probably would clear most of the stuff out the garage or at least the stuff you do not use everyday. They are not that expensive .
It’s 103 at 7:42 PM in West Texas
As usual great video guy's!! 🤗 ❤️
The only problem you may have with mounting it under the bed would be it might drag going over railroad tracks or oither such grade in the road or parking lots.
When I ordered mine, they gave me two brackets one for the mower and I could probably put one somewhere on the trailer that would work
Get with your guy that painted the Truck you`re Driving maybe he can fix Something or go to the guy that made you the Ramp for your other Truck
Mount the accelerator on the headache rack
Headrack is a good idea. Tool box under the bed for extra stuff or tools
I build a roof rack for my truck few years ago when I had a flatbed on mine. It actually works out pretty well when need more space I still have the roof rack
TQ is looking great on her journey of better health..
Hello tq and Shawn from tractor man lawn care business
Has your Wife been losing weight? Go get it…
Hi Shawn, I'm surprised you haven't made a bracket system to mount your string trimmers onto your mowers.
Maybe there is such item, But I haven't seen it yet... Thanks.
Good Evening Team Spencer
You need to get with Equipment Defender and see if the can make you an underside mount for your bagger
Ireland needs sunshine :)
Cool in Wisconsin today, heating up this weekend
If you put that under the bed of your truck what happens if you hit anything like a road gator how would the cage hold up, just a thought
You have to have a brain before it can be blown
One weird hump in a road or driveway and that accelerator would be gone
I make my own iced coffee. Lota of flavors out there! I refuse to pay $$$ for coffee.
Good evening shawn and Savannah clay smith medford Oregon

Mom used to make ground beef, mashed potatoes & cream corn. She called it dog food 😅
